Brilliant service. Boots have supplied my eye tests and various sets of glasses for 12 years. Last Friday when I phoned in emergency blindness a receptionist went beyond the normal bounds of time to help.The following day the optician delayed his first client to check my problem and referred me to hospital urgently. That intervention may well save my full sight.

My appointment was a waste of time.
I was told at the end of my previous appointment by the optician that he would look into options available to me regarding contact lenses and he would be in contact with me.
I have a complex prescription and thus far have not been happy with contact lenses I was prescribed last year.
Unfortunately, nobody contacted me. I had to ring them and was told my new contact lenses were available to collect! I was taken aback because I hadn?t been informed or asked if this was OK.
However, I didn?t complain as would be happy if they were an improvement on my old ones.
Unfortunately, when I arrived at my appointment I was given the new lenses without any explanation. I had to ask about them and was told they were the same prescription as previous lenses.
The optician couldn?t remember saying he was looking at alternatives or saying he would contact me.
Needless to say I didn?t accept the lenses.
I?m now looking for a new optician.
I don?t think they will care as I?m sure I was seen as a nuisance to them and made to feel so.

The girls in Boots were so helpful. They were really friendly and helped me to find some glasses, they also didn?t rush me and took great care to ensure I had the best most comfortable pair of glasses for me. Thanks to Chelsea, Lauren and Nina! Overall fantastic experience and absolutely recommend.
