I had beautiful cake and tea at this branch of Betty's. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they served you with a smile. If you want a bit of upmarket food and service this is the place. It may cost a bit more but it's definitely worth it.

I have been to all the other Betty's and this one was as good as any of the others. Lots of parking locally.
There was a queue waiting to be seated but I didn't wait long to be seated.
This Betty's is smaller than the York and Harrogate but has a lovely atmosphere.
The staff were polite, friendly and helpful.
The food was served promptly and was delicious. I had the Haddock, Salmon and Prawn Gratin.
This Betty's was all on one level making it accessible. The toilets are upstairs and immaculate but there is an accessible toilet downstairs.
The shop is well stocked and purchases can be made from your table and brought to you.
The care and attention to their customers is excellent.
I watched as the staff supported a lovely lady who walked with an aid.
Her shopping was taken out to her taxi, with staff monitoring her but not fussing.
As always an absolute pleasure to dine and shop at Betty's.

Always a 5 star experience. This time our group opted for some sandwiches and the Yorkshire cream tea. Our server was able to change the sultana scones for the cheese ones which was lovely for some members of our party.
The kids enjoyed the hot chocolate and gooey rascal. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed buying more items from the gift shop.

They had no sfternoon tea menu at 2pm on the day we went as sold out. It became clear that the food is prepared and the Cheese Rarebit came in a bowl and was a gooey blob of cheese without any flavour and a piece of microwaved cardboard bread underneath. People like it for the name but feels as bad as a posh motorway area like Tebay. A Local cafe in Ripon made netter food and was clearly freshly made. Avoid unless you like tourist rip offs.

I think this might be our favourite Betty's - we had a lovely breakfast here on Sunday. The staff and service were all excellent and the food was delicious. We'll most certainly be visiting again soon.

Very nice tea room for breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had the rösti which was good and very nice tea and coffee. I would say that it is certainly on the more pricey side but then again you would probably expect that before you go in.

We love Betty's but today was a disappointment. No fish pn the menu (specials orbotherwise) the burger amd the chicken Schnitzel were ok but a little dry, underwhelming and not as good as pub food (order the mayo for both). The microsalad with the burger was very funny! The wines.... Out of the 3 one was not available and the other 2 tastes like cheap wine but charged at almost £10. I expect to pay a premium but expect quality Betty's. The ckes from the ahop were excellent though. So dont expect much from the restaurant food.

Amazing food and drinks absolutely but man is this place overpriced! Seriously take out a 2nd mortgage or win the lottery before ordering any more than the smallest plate here.

We had a lovely visit to Betty's. We were welcomed at the door and only had to wait a few minutes while they got a table ready. The staff were friendly and welcoming. And helpful when unsure of what tea to order! The tea room is wonderful and calm, and it feels inviting and warm.
And the scones were still warm when they arrived at our table!

Been going to bettys tea rooms for well on 40yrs , my sister mother and I love to travel around to the Harlow car?bettys ilkley ,Harrogate and Northallerton,been the closest we seem,we don?t get to York as much now as mother is finding walking around tiresome at times we always take time to fill in the survey,100%over and beyond on everything ,from arrival to departure ,food ,drink service friendly staff to politeness , nothing is never a problem, look forward now to the return to ilkley before summers out .recommended 100%+
