Lovely old fashioned department store in the heart of Northallerton. All the departments seem to be on different levels . Prices were not too bad and generally in line with other shops. Good sized car park at the rear offering long and short stay . Two places to eat a restaurant upstairs ( above arcade ) and a smaller coffee shop on ground level.

I can only praise all of the staff in Barkers , they are always so welcoming and pleasant as well as helpful if you require any information on a product , they go beyond what you would normally expect . We received our new furniture yesterday and even down to the delivery team the service is outstanding , Thank you to everyone . We Love shopping at both Barkers home And Barkers Northallerton and can?t wait till our next visit , highly recommend both of the cafes and restaurants too .Carole and Brian Straughan
