Well heated for a church. Warm & inviting people, lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Went a Christingle this evening & it was really well organised & child focused, with a sliver bass band there which is a really nice touch.

We held my brothers funeral service here and Fiona (the vicar) was lovely, she even went out of her way I would say to accommodate his last wishes. This is a lovely church inside and out, it's right on the high street in Northallerton so you can't miss it.

When I went in I was asked if I wanted a bowl of soup as they have a lunch club on that day and time. I declined but had a cup of coffee instead. Appears to be a lively church with an involved congregation. The Chancel is modern but other parts of the church date from the fourteenth century. Worth a visit if you like old churches that keep up to date.
