We didn't stay and if the food (over priced, not as listed on the menu, burnt and made both my wife and I poorly) was any resemblance on the rooms I am glad we didn't.
Also don't believe the hype of award winning riverside garden as it looked like nothing had been done to it in 10 years.

Room spacious, clean and well appointed, lack of choice on menu for dinner. Choice for breakfast but fruit provided really only for one person not two. Need to review policy if charging to room as we had to query items on our bill which we did not purchase. After we left they tried to bill us for an extra night's stay which we had to get refunded.

Good honest, friendly and welcoming pub with rooms. Beautiful bear garden heading down looking over the river, good choice of food and drinks with a family atmosphere.
The rooms are typical for an old building, but plenty comfortable
