We had an amazing birthday meal here! Ordered a variety of snacks, small plates and a side to share between us, and they were all so good! Particular highlights were the yakitori salmon and the pork bao buns. To finish, we had the matcha and white chocolate fondant and the single origin chocolate, which were both scrummy. The koi mocktail was also a favourite! The staff were so lovely and attentive throughout, and we really valued their recommendations and help choosing dishes. It was clear they all knew their stuff inside out. Highly recommended!

From the moment we walked through the door Sam and his fabulous team were second to none. They were all so attentive, friendly, kind and knowledgable. The atmosphere was relaxed, the setting was stunning and the food was delicious.
Then followed by incredible Live Jazz music from James in Valerie?s which made the birthday celebrations even more special and memorable. We can?t wait to come back. Thanks again to you all.

Great meal as always but the lengthy descriptions of every course by the waiter can become a bit annoying especially on the 8 course taster menu!

It was an absolute pleasure to speak with Morgan about the process and inspiration behind the bars current cocktails list, and the creativity involved in the new menu. On Morgan?s recommendation, we enjoyed some exceptional concoctions, and were made to feel very welcome.

Exceptional from beginning to end. Eighty Eight have incredible staff who are super attentive and informative. Well done to our lovely waitress for the evening. My brother had an amazing 60th birthday thank you, your vegan menu made his night.

We had an incredible dining experience at Restaurant EightyEight at Grantley Hall. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and exceptionally well looked after by Fatou, the restaurant manager, and So?both of whom were incredibly friendly and attentive.
We dined as a couple and chose the 8-course tasting menu, with one traditional and one vegetarian option. Every course was beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and expertly balanced. The explanations of each dish and the accompanying drinks were detailed and enhanced the overall experience.
The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and the service was faultless throughout. It was a truly memorable evening, and we will definitely be returning!

We have dined a few times in bar eighty eight and have always received the most impeccable service. The tasting menu and wine paring is a MUST! Every course is delicious. A big SHOUT OUT to Bradley the barman.....he is fabulous! Well beyond his years in knowledge service. Will return as soon as we can.....as long as Bradley is there to serve our drinks!!

The food, ambience and service is excellent here. We arrived for dinner and each had different dietary restrictions but they cheerfully accommodated us all.
We sat in a booth which was lovely, as it enabled us to speak without being hindered by the music.
The food and mocktails were delicious (I had the lychee one) and the restaurant itself is beautiful.
We decided against the tasting menu as we had already gone down that path at Shaun Rankin and chose our dishes with much anticipation.
We were not disappointed. We order several starters to share and our main courses.
The flavours tantalised our taste buds. I am in love with the chilli and garlic noodles and the potatoes were perfection!
I had the fish dish which was lovely and then dessert was scrumptious too (we shared it as we were so full!)
It was a very enjoyable evening in a beautiful setting!

Food amazing i can't imagine anything bad on the menu but the restaurant manager is the star as she is so welcoming and made our night. We cannot wait to return.

I booked a table at this place on a whim because of the Great British Menu connection. I just want to say that I have never enjoyed an evening of food as much in my life. We had the tasting menu and each dish was brilliant in its own way. Some were "just" lovely, others were revelations.I think the biggest accolade I can leave is that: I have a reputation for being a bit of a fussy eater, and there's loads I wouldn't normally try, foods I didn't think I'd like, many of those on the menu. I didn't leave anything on the plate at the end of any course.Well worth a visit. And I can't wait to go again to see what else is on offer!

Food, atmosphere, service. Excellent. Whilst you?d expect nothing less from a Grantley Hall restaurant, it?s easy for it to rely on exactly that fact. Everything was perfect though, and well worth a visit. Would highly recommend the Tandoori Lobster starter. A great way to celebrate my 30th. I hope to visit again soon.
