Start the evening with a meal, excellent value, local produce.
The staff are friendly and helpful marked down by 1 because, like most places, not quite enough staff all the time.

Sunday Lunch, my husband had roast beef and I had roast pork. Both came with seasonal veg and yorkshire pudding. This was the best roast we have both had in a long time. The flavours of the meat and veg were amasing cooked to perfection we will definitely go again. Highly recommend.

This is a great village pub with always something going one whether it's a quiz night or music nights and very good food and the staff are friendly and helpful

Passed this place many times and thought it looked nice so thought we'd try it for Sunday lunch. It was very quiet. There was a vegan option on the menu which I ordered and as I'm a vegetarian I asked for a Yorkshire pudding. When it came there was a stuffing ball in the Yorkshire pudding, I asked if the stuffing ball was vegetarian and was told no. The server apologised but seriously?! Sadly we won't be going back.

Came in to see James at this lovely pub sampled two large fish and chips bargin price definitely would recommend! Lovely staff ? will definitely be back

Stopped on the offchance of some Sunday roast being left at 5.30, last serving being 6pm, so we were lucky and certainly not disappointed. Would have awarded 5 stars for food but beef a little overcooked for my taste, but I know it would have been perfect had we gone earlier! Still very good, plentiful and tasty. A very warm welcome from the two young friendly and very efficient chaps on duty, we'll be back, but will come earlier!
