Enjoyable lunch at this village gastro pub. Decent variety on the menu. All items were well prepared and presented. Good to see they promote the use of local fare (food and drink).

A friend and I went for Sunday Lunch after googling and coming across it. We hadn't been before and thought it just looked nice. We were not disappointed. The food was lovely and freshly made. We were limited to how long we could have the table as it was fully booked, but we still had plenty of time to eat and we were not rushed at all. We then moved to the outside area to finish our drinks before leaving. Parking is also limited, but again although busy we still managed to find space.

Sunday Roast here was outstanding. Had the sharing platter. Roast beef was the standout - perfectly pink and very tender. Sides were also extremely good. They also do kids portions (just ask!). Probably the best Roast in the area ?

Found this Gem of a pub when coming home from a mess do. What a stunning pub! We only stayed for a drink but loved the very cosy, country pub. Have made plans to come and try the food as it smelt divine!

A superb bottle of Sardinian Vermentino complemented our dining experience perfectly, pairing excellently with our dish of perfectly cooked halibut. The owner, mature and respected industry notable, very passionate and hands-on.

Just had a fabulous anniversary meal, hubbie had fillet steak, I had whole lobster, followed by two wonderful desserts. All accompanied by a delicious Italian red and a cotes de Provence rose. We would highly recommend due to the quality of the food and the friendly service, the steak ranked up there with one of the best we have ever eaten, and we?ve tried quite a few over the years. If you want a relaxed atmosphere with exceptional food and lovely surroundings, this is the place for you.

Beautiful food went for a friends birthday. Localy sourced ingredients as far as they can be. Lovely menu and pleasant atmosphere. Open kitchen and warm bar area.
