I don't know what has happened in this branch since I was last in eight month ago but some thing has ,just walked in off the street with a quick query the lady on the customer desk was so welcoming, friendly and super efficient,sorted it for the lovely Jill to see us privately and got all our banking needs in order,she took her time explaining everything this so we knew exactly what we had done, absolutely fantastic customer service hope it stays like this,a very pleased customer thank you?

3 hrs wait to see a counter. All ran by clowns. All need sacking. Hope it gets shut down asap. 0/10 for service.

Absolute descrace wants shuting down can't even phone the place says number invalid so you have to send a message request wich I did for 2days to be denied a 72 year old women who can't walk from wrighting a letter signing it coming down with I.d as her son and proff of everything stopped me from getting money for my mam who thought she had lost her card stopped it and then found it wich is unfortunate and yeh you can look at as security but wen its down to payin her careers bill and her weekly shop with all evidence proof you could ever want letter written signed you still denied her 72year old women access to money for food and bills like I said look on her banking you will see Wednesday are her shoping days well done you tho hope you sleep well tonight ?

Having banked with Virgin Money (formerly Northern rock)the Ladies at the former branch Opposite Cleveland centre were Brilliant ! Helping me Tremendously to get the best deal..The lack of Knowledge and Blaise attitude beggars belief of staffat the Current branch.We are advised oh just pop in we can sort your app accounts and the child's account no problem really ??Then we turn up on Sat morn 930 am in the Que and told to make an appointment as Saturday don't do appointments, not told the wait time or said lets make appointment now ? Monday we try to ring, no answer phone line is dead,Checked the web site correct number , then ring HQ finally get a number, told they will ring back, 3 hours later then told the booking time is 6 weeks for appointment, no attempt to improve, Lady attitude was take it or leave attitude and we will have to sort out the mobile banking our selves ??This is the very reason I left the Halifax , lack of service and personnel touch.All in all, shoddy service since Virgin/Yorkshire bank took overabsolutely appalling.Skipton No problem and a better rate.

I can't get an appointment for 6 weeks to open another business account, told to do it online but I'm not eligible for some reason after filling in the online questionnaire. Virgin bank is hopeless since they took over my Yorkshire bank account I've had nothing but hassle.

Good News for Virgin customers at this branch; they have now arranged for two counters to be available which does speed things up a lot.

Cannot understand such negative reviews. I have always found staff very friendly and helpful. You will find queues in all banks and building societies etc.I also use their app which is very good.
