Cowboy outfit don't use them to repair your car. Said they could fix my car and left with a tracking issue they cant sort. so now I have to use another garage.

I?ve just been into Stokesley Motors as I had a warning triangle on my dash. The car was with them for half an hour apparently it was a brake light which had the incorrect bulb fitted.They have fitted me a new brake light.£43 I am gobsmacked, daylight robbery.Disgusted won?t be going there again.

Firstly, this garage has NO FREE MOT RETEST POLICY. Their policy is - if the retest is within 10 days of the MOT, the charge is £26. After 10 days, full MOT test charge will apply. Never in my 11 years of motoring have I ever been charged for an MOT retest, and talking with other garages in the area they were very surprised to hear that this garage was charging for retests. This is also not advertised, so you only know about the retest charge when paying for the MOT - a little sneaky.This review is based only on an MOT experience, I cannot comment on the quality of work of this garage.I took a new car in for an MOT that I knew needed a bit of work doing to it, so it expectedly failed. I then set about carrying out the work myself to pass the retest. When I called to book the MOT retest, they made a strange comment that they themselves hadn't completed the repairs. During the retest it failed again on cuts in the rear tyres - strange for two reasons: 1. I fitted new wheels and tyres before the retest and fully inspected the tyres, finding no damage/defects, 2. This was a fail on an item that wasn't picked up in the original MOT.I took the car home, removed the rear wheels and couldn't find any cuts in the tyres at all. I took the car to a different garage for another MOT, they found no damage on the tyres at all despite me asking them to look for the damage.The whole experience made me wonder that Stokesley Motors wanted to squeeze more money out of me, so lied about damage to the tyres to charge me for at least some form of repair.

Very pleased with my experience buying a used car from here. I live several hours away so wanted as many pictures and information as I could get about the car before making the journey to see it. Sales team and Clayton were very helpful and sent me all that I needed and answered any questions I had. Gave the car a full year's MOT and service at no cost.The no-pressure sales environment was very refreshing, as opposed to some other places that use sales tactics to get you to buy the car. Would definitely buy from this dealer again

I had a car bought for me from Stokesley motors and had nothing but problems with it.The fuel gauge was saying it was empty but when I put diesel in it was coming out of the top of tank so was full.They took it back had it for a month. I got it back they never gave me any paperwork saying what had been done to it. They just gave me the key and Said your car is on the corner. Four days later I took my kids out for the day and got stranded because it would not start. It was the immobiliser not working so I got it started in the end to get my children back home. So I have not got a good word for them
