Everyone was lovely and very polite. The staff kept me informed that there was a 20 min delay at each step of the process, but despite the delay I seemed to be seen quite quicky. The staff were knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted and about any concerns I had. After seeing the optician who gave a thorough examination I was helped by George, who actually helped me last year when I was in store. George is such a lovely guy, he was so helpful and constructive in assisting me to find the right distance and reading glasses. He also helped to sorted out some polarised sunglasses lens (which I never thought I could have due to my high prescription) to be used in a pair of my old favourite frames - which I absolutely love. He explained why and what was best for my sight and face during the fitting and making sure he checked and explained everything in great detail, both about the glasses I chose and the bill. He made the whole procedure a pleasure instead of a nightmare. Myself, my husband and George all chatted as he ran through both my initial fitting and purchase, and then at my final fitting, which all helped to ease the stress of finding the right glasses. George has such a lovely way about him, he was both professional and friendly, and it was a pleasure to be served by him. He is an asset to Specsavers. FYI I absolutely look all my glasses.

Great service from Specsavers in Middlesbrough. All staff were extremely helpful and polite with a great deal of underpinning knowledge.
Importantly to me, there was no 'pressure' in terms of sales, just a clear explanation of what I needed and why, what options were available and help when I needed it.

Always really friendly advisors and opticians, every member of the team explains what's happening and why every step of the way. The eye test itself is really short too even though I get an enhanced test, I'm never waiting around to talk to anyone
