Was seen by Matthew at skippers lane. He was very helpful. He made me feel at ease and showed me around the showroom. I went ahead with my purchase of a 3 seater and a 2 seater recliner, this was on 31/12/2023.ive read all documents that have come with it and I have been trying for a couple of hours now phoning as I need to query something on my bill. The price if the gliders I will be paying for comes to £60 when I can get them from eBay for less than £20. I'm not happy paying their price.

Used ScS many years ago. Bought a sofa and chair .. when it came it was damaged and the cushions looked worn. Was told I would have a new one in 7 days if I signed the docket, which I did but also wrote on goods damaged, unsatisfactory quality!! A week later an old chap turned up to repair it. I said "No" .. just wanted a new sofa and chair. Weeks of emails and calls to head office in Sunderland trying to sort it out. I even got in contact with the manufacturer who made the sofa .. guess what .. they never made that sofa that year. So where did mine come from? .. a display model I guess buy the state of it. Anyway lots of wasted time and eventually I got a new sofa and chair. They said I would have to wait 16 weeks for delivery. I said I only waited 8 weeks for the old one. Would I deal with ScS again? .. Never!!

Placed a order, got promised a delivery slot that has not, been upheld, have a disabled son now sitting on the floor for a week due to the incompetence of staff while the couch in question still sits on the shop floor wrapped, poor poor service would certainly not recommend to anyone.

Paid cash for sofa and 3 seater waited 3 months for it to comeFinally here two lovley lads start putting it together and they and i notice scuffs and a tear on both chair and sofaIt was all wrapped up so how did it happen ????I am not happy at allCould not as delivery lads to take away as i would have nothing to sit onSo now waiting for someone from head office to ring will give them till monday 5 SeptemberTo say no am disappointed is a understatement

We got a good sales lady agreed with paying for delivery that?s where it all started delivery none existent you phone them they just fob you off with lies they say they will phone night before they don?t they say they will phone on the morning of delivery they don?t just awful service my recommendations go somewhere else

My husband and I visited SCS yesterday evening from the second we walked in the door we were accosted quite loudly! As I already know what I?m looking for I did not need any assistance so I continue to peruse. I had someone yelling at me what is it you?re looking for, We explained that we were just browsing. We were then questioned ?well what are you browsing are you browsing tables are you browsing sofas?!?Since when did we have to justify what we were browsing we were customers were being the focus point here! Very aggressive sales techniques.

Came here because previously we got lino and we were very pleased with it and the fitters however on this occasion we chose a lino to be told they didn't do it anymore. Chose another to be also told that was discontinued. So gave up and went somewhere else instead. Disappointed. This is no reflection on the sales guy he was very apologetic to the situation.

DO NOT BUY FROM SCS!!!!they delivered us the sections of our £4,000 sofa, the sections do not fit together or match! They then refuse to do anything useful about it, this complaint been going on for over a year. Awful company, terrible customer service, will never buy from here AGAIN!Would be a zero rating if there was an option...

Ordered a 3 seater sofa a chair and storage puffy in March. 14 weeks later got delivered sofa and chair spot on puffy was completely wrong colour and wasn't the storage one we requested after about 5 phone calls and them putting phone down on me or apparently calling me back with that not working had to go back into the store they could not of apologised enough and ordered a new one that would take 12 weeks to come we are now in November the new sofa chair and puffy have came but it is still not the right puffy absolutely useless as i am still waiting for a call back days later I would stay clear of this store on skippers Lane Middlesbrough the quality is good but its not what we requested

Purchased a sofa and two chairs costing approx £4000 for elderly parents and were told that they would arrive on 28th NovemberI have arranged for there old sofa and chairs to be collected on 27thIt?s now 25th so I thought I?d ring them just to make sure that it is arriving on that date .After me ringing them it appears that the expected / estimated date is now 6th December and may be laterMy point is thisIt would have been courteous to contact us to let us know .We have arranged and paid for collection of the old sofa and chairs so my elderly parents will have nothing to sit on for an indefinite period .Poor communication and customer service !!!

Sales person was very helpful but told me I'd get a leather cleaning kit included then charged me £30 for it. Didn't even know until I saw the invoice and I wouldn't have brought it had it been sold properly. The sofa won't be delivered until November which is 3 months and the finance company are an absolute nightmare to get hold of, telling me I had to email through the site but the site is rubbish and it's hard to find the form. In the end I had to call collections. Hopefully the sofa will arrive on time and be good quality.

Was seen to by Paula at Skippers Lane store in Middlesbrough. Had an amazing and warm and welcoming service. Lots of information and great advice given. Made us feel welcomed and non rushed. Helped us in every way possible. Best customer service I have had in a long time.
