Lovely staff and premium room. Location excellent. However there were a issues with the bathroom. We are in our late 80s and not feel we need a disabled room yet. Just a few simple handholds are all that are needed. Shower has none apart for the pipe. Toilet had none to pull me up on. The towel rail an toilet roll holder were flimsey.

I have stayed here a few times in recent months with my partner. And have never had a bad experience. Staff are always friendly and on hand to help with any enquiries or problems. Had the 'Unlimited Breakfast' for £10.99 today for the first time. And was really happy with the service and the proactive staff. Having allergies It was nice to be asked before hand and offered fresh seperate food.
I am looking forward to my next visit.

This location was absolutely ideal and great value at the time of booking. We traveled all around the North East coast and inland too ? For example Whitby was under an hour and inland York was just over an hour in the car. The staff are really friendly and very accommodating thank you ??

I stayed here when I was on a training course at the Faraday centre which is 10 minutes up the road. I had an early start on the Friday morning and didn't have time for breakfast. The course was completed early so on my way home back to Leeds. I went past the premier inn Middlesbrough central and called back in to see if I could have my breakfast which was included in my stay and I had paid for. It was still just after 09:15 and it wasn't a problem at all the staff are all fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel itself is first class and there is a Toby carvery right outside the reception doors. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever up that way again. The Breakfast was amazing by the way I?

Don?t bother. Service is bad, Staff are a bit awkward to deal with. Had to request for my room to be cleaned after three days cos none of the cleaners even bothered to clean the room.

Carl one of staff at reception was very helpful and knew our needs and accommodated us in an accessible room which is what we needed. We were set to be in a standard room but he knew our needs and put us in the room we actually needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Middlesbrough near James cook hospital.

When we stayed it was at the beginning of Covidand hardly anyone was staying there so they closed the restaurant so no food was available.

Entrance and kitchens under refurb and some work was completed overnight. The work affected my stay in many ways. I complained twice to 2 different team members, I was firstly told there were no rooms to move to, then in a matter of hours was told I could be moved. There seems to be differences in the definition of what a good night sleep guarantee means.

Hotel going through a refurbishment, so reception was a bit of a building site. Room was OK though.

Avoid staying at this Premier Inn! The car park is plagued with break-ins on a weekly occurrence and when you try and report this issue, upper management fail to see this as something they should be trying to fix. When you look around the car park the place is littered with broken glass. You are much better off staying 10 mins down the road outside Middlesbrough where the surroundings are much nicer.

Stayed here for one night the room was ok just a standard room. Woke in the morning to find that my car and 7 others had been broken into with the windows being smashed. Whilst on the phone to the police I overheard a conversation between staff saying it happens weekly. If I would have known that I would have parked in the disabled bay right by the entrance. So just be aware.
