This place is a little gem. Friendly service from all and a warm welcoming atmosphere. I?ve visited a few times when here to see family and they cater very well for large parties. The food is wonderful, I thoroughly enjoyed the ?Parmogeddon? a must for Parmo lovers. Everything else the family had looked wonderful. Great bartender and my recommendation would be let him use his imagination. A wonderful night and see you next time I?m At Middlesbrough.

Four of us visited just after Christmas. Food was really good, perfectly cooked rump steak & the stilton sauce was delicious. We all enjoyed our food and the house lager a nice tipple too. Only disappointment was no belly pork & not advised until went to order it. Staff friendly & nice ambience. Overall 3 starters, 4 mains, 2 rounds of drinks £140. Great value.

First class place to eat, food is second to none, restaurant is spotless, staff are really attentive and very friendly and the manager/owner extremely professional. He greets and meets but also mucks in and does everything he requires his staff to do. Highly recommended place to eat!

Went as a vegan with allergies. Ordered my main and found a piece of steak in the vegan risotto. This piece of steak was from a meal with milk in, which I am allergic to. Thankfully I carry my epipen around with me, but chefs should be a lot more vigilant with cross contamination. I addressed this with the waitress and had an explanation of ?when they toss the pasta it might have fell out? yes I understand this, but it cannot happen. If someone was to have a meal with a stronger allergic reaction then this could be deadly. Will not be returning.

Parmo was the worst I?ve ever had! So thin and tasteless. No one checked if the meal was ok, I did tell the waitress when she collect the plates, who didn?t say or do anything. Very disappointing it?s wasn?t cheep either. £75 for 2 adults and 2 children (one soft drink each) Go down the road - we wish we had :-(

We often dine at Olivellos as the fopd is delicious, a varied menu, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Googled afternoon tea in Middlesbrough and hey ho this place came up. Option on their website so booked it for my wife and daughter. They turned up to be they dont do afternoon tea. Couldnt make it up. They had lunch and said it was awful.

Only found out this morning that we were going. So much to choose from . I went for the 10oz Salmon with a lobster sauce on a bed of buttered new potatoes, asparagus & tender-stem broccoli. The Salmon skin was lovely & crispy & my meal was thoroughly lovely. We had a selection of cocktails and they were equally good & if you picked the same one each, they were 2 for £10. The staff were friendly & helpful. We will definitely be going there again .

Lovely restaurant visually. Ordered mussels, which were more the size of a wrinkle unfortunately, so quite disappointing.Chicken in sauce was the smallest chicken portion I?ve been served in a restaurant,( more sauce than anything else. The Parmos in comparison where huge. 75p for a tiny amount of garlic mayo charged on the bill , just greed unfortunately and not value for money nor worth the prices charged. Won?t be returning.

Great restaurant with lovely atmosphere. Nice staff and the food is excellent, not the cheapest but well worth it.

We got the 3 course for £20 on restaurant week, the starters were lovely as were the parmos (although too big and brought home), the desserts we also brought home my daughter had my fudge cake she loved, the cheesecake was small and okay but a bit watery! The staff were really friendly, however we felt so rushed we had ordered and had all 3 courses within 40 mins. You couldn?t have a rest without someone coming over to ask if you were done and we were asked several times by different staff within 5 minutes if we wanted our desserts. It wouldn?t put me off going back it?s a firm favourite of ours but would like a little more time to relax and drink my wine between courses!

Booked a birthday meal during Teesside restaurant week. First class service from start to finish. Booked our sitting via the Quandoo app, really smooth service. Lovely welcome at the restaurant, really attentive service from waiting staff but by no means overbearing. Food was delicious and this is feeling of the full party of diners. Excellent value as it was restaurant week. I would highly recommend this restaurant and it won?t be very long before I return to enjoy ala carte menu.

At short notice they accepted our request for a table for ten and they didn't disappoint. Both food and drinks were served quickly and the quality was superb. It was a great choice of venue and very good value, this is our second visit here and it won't be our last, see you next year.

First time to Olivello Ristorante for lunch & it won't be the last. Really pleasant staff, comfy surroundings & the food was just great. Tremendous choice from the a la catre menu, the Happy Hour menu or the Lite Bite menu to cater for any needs. Perhaps had to wait a bit longer before anyone took our drinks order but it gave us time to make our choices for our meals so gave our meal order at the same time! Win win!
