As a black person I know am not wanted in many ways in this part of the world, I move from London to Middlesbrough few months ago and sadly this LidI Is the one closest to me.
Today been 17th of August 2025, I went to LidI with my flatmate to get a few things, I went to the cashier No.2 there was this old white lady there, I was on my phone trying to send money into my account & was little bit distracted, went above the line with the next customer, she immediately shouted at me to go back,
I said sorry since I was the one at fault.
she scanned my things and Asked me If I wanted to pay by Card I said Yes? She immediately told me to say Yes Please and Not Yes while people are standing there And I felt really humiliated
I dont need you or anyone to show me manners cause am not a 25yrs Old, the next time she will attempt to humiliate me In anyway I will surely show you my nature. If you are a racist person you don?t need to be attending to black people cause apparently this is not the first time she is doing that. if you are a racist
You can do that in your house And sadly this particular Lidl staff seem to have a history of Racism cause their reviews have a bunch of them And at your age Am not surprised why she is cashier, very stupid and very draft person and As I said the next time she will try any nonsense with me I will gladly response to it.

Lidl. The ?tidy? version of Aldi, I guess.
Plus bakery too, that?s a bonus.
Their croissants are fantastic.
Recently, it?s been the only place that does the Chinese stir fry I like, so I visit it quite often.
That and the fact that it?s only a few hundred meters away from where I live.

Always big queues at check out. Staff on their mobiles instead of serving. Soo so slow when scanning at check outs.

The wait at the till was very long so in the meantime my phone rang so I answered it. I put my 3 items on the conveyor belt and took my debit card, made eye contact and was ready to pay . The cashier Kelly screamed HELLO !!! and I mean screamed like a deranged animal . She knew I was on the phone and continued to say I had no manners. I will be honest after taking another look at her and her demeanour I am not surprised about her behaviour and LIDL must very desperate to employ mediocre staff such as her . Just appalling and entitled . I will never use this store again.
