Spacious parking and alot of stuff and brands to buy groceries from , baked goods are also available ,can't say they taste good though.

I love Lidl for its electronic receipt when you download the Lidl app. I use it a lot.
I love the taste of their Yogurt compared to other stores.
Their prices are relatively good for a whole lot of items and groceries.
I have no concern recommending them.

Staff were brutal!!!
This evening after leaving my office, I popped in to Lidl in Newport Middlesbrough to get a couple items for home. My children love the yogurt from Lidl, that is one item I always get if I ever go there; unfortunately there was non on the shelf. Heading for the check out to pay for the items I got, I said to the cashier ( a long ginger hair gentleman, to be specific a bit boldly on top) that I could not find much on the shelf in the fridge area , specifically the yogurt I was looking for, asking if that was due to the Christmas busy period. He abruptly jumped on me arguing that they have been closed 3 days out the past 10 days, there are 100 of pallets of stuff at the store needed to be taken to shelfs and that I00 peoples before me asked the same question!!! If it?s not on the shelf I can not give it to you!
I said ? Hey man chill out I did not mean to complain, I was just trying to be social and that it might have been short stock due to festive season and Christmas. There was no need to be aggressive or annoyed. Sorry for asking! Weird, is not it? Was I wrong guys? May be he had a bad day in office I don?t know. Overworked and underpaid! Who knows ?

2 male staff there poor customer service, (beard, glasses) rude, unhelpful. if you challenge or request a refund, they're even worse. Charge for items you don't have, or full price for a discounted item. Check your receipt.
Appears they're dissatisfied with their life choices and should consider a career change, YOLO... Just saying.
