“Had a lovely experience after work, went into HMV to shop for my brother’s birthday. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the person who went through a list of things to check if they had them. Nothing on the list was in stock (it happens, not an issue!) so we found a few other vinyls anyways!
I was then served by a lovely person at the tills who recognised my hoodie and honestly, little things like that really make my day :)

“My dad bought a TV from here and three weeks later it failed.
We went back with it on Thursday 10th July 2025 and all l can say is the staff that dealt with us were absolutely superb.
I didn't get the names of the two guys who served us sadly but they really were so helpful, sorted a new tv after running diagnostics on the one we returned.
Gave a refund for the difference of cost for a different make and also gave my dad an extra gift of £10 for the inconvenience of having to return the faulty tv.
They were really good at their job, customer service was ? excellent and l wouldn't hesitate buying from Currys for anything electrical l need in the future.
Great job guys and thank you for all your help, sincerely appreciated ?.”

“We have been let down by a builder for a few times and Frank with his team has been very patient with us and supportive, he fit us in to his busy schedule when we need it. Also had to overcome few technical problems but with Frank’s expertise got it sorted. Great price and good quality materials. Maggie in the shop has been very helpful and dealing with her was great. Overall highly recommended. Definitely be going back when will need more work doing in the future.”

“I just completed my order with Travis Perkins on Skippers Lane in Teesside North East... dealt with all their staff who have been polite, patient and very courteous. Since our kitchen hasn't yet been delivered and fitted I can't make a complete comment but up to now Tracey and Catherine Newsome have been absolutely brilliant. Had to change a few things after discussions with my kitchen fitter and Catherine has been so helpful. I didn't have access to transport and she came to my home and picked me up once I was ready to look at the kitchen and all other accessories etc and plans. This was before I made a final decision to buy the kitchen after that.I've no complaints up to now, so far so good. Will update again later.”

“Visited yesterday for an online click and collect order.
The website checks the stock levels for you, and if in stock its usually ready for you within an hour of ordering.
You recieve a text and email to tell you to collect.
The store is located on a retail park, so the car park and surrounding roads are quite busy.
B&Q has plenty of parking though.
Once in, you need to go to a click and collect area and press a button for a member of staff to come and assist you.
My experience was very good, the young girl who helped me was very helpful and even offered to take my order to the car (I declined).
Whilst there I purchased some other items and used the click and collect tills (not easy with a big order in a trolley to navigate).
Overall a good experience and I would visit here again.”
“Was seen by Matthew at skippers lane. He was very helpful. He made me feel at ease and showed me around the showroom. I went ahead with my purchase of a 3 seater and a 2 seater recliner, this was on 31/12/2023.ive read all documents that have come with it and I have been trying for a couple of hours now phoning as I need to query something on my bill. The price if the gliders I will be paying for comes to £60 when I can get them from eBay for less than £20. I'm not happy paying their price.”

“Finally bought some speakers after hitting up Richer Sounds in Middlesbrough. Have to say they are tiny but pack a fantastic sound. Dali Oberon 1's just awaiting wall mounts now. The sale guy was spot on and let me listen to several speakers with in my price range and tbh these were above my range but as soon I heard them it was an instant sale. Have to say if you are investing in a decent music system give Richer Sounds a go, and visit their physical store and listen to their staff, also join their free premium club for me excellent discounts as they are cheaper than many online stores and retail outlets. You may have a pleasant and enjoyable experience just like me.”
