If I could give 0 stars, I would. Taking advantage of the elderly with unnecessary upsells is just wrong. An 80 year old who just accesses the internet, doesn't take or save photos or videos, suddenly needs 4TB of cloud storage? And a VPN subscription?! Let alone the essential protection for multiple devices when he has an old brick of a phone and no other devices! I don't live near him and he went and bought his laptop before I visited unfortunately. To find out Curry's at Middlesbrough then sold him all these extras which he will never need or use, and certainly doesn't even understand (I asked him if he needed 4TB of cloud storage and he looked at me blankly saying 'what?'). This smacks of deception and taking advantage of an old gentleman on pension credit!

My dad bought a TV from here and three weeks later it failed.
We went back with it on Thursday 10th July 2025 and all l can say is the staff that dealt with us were absolutely superb.
I didn't get the names of the two guys who served us sadly but they really were so helpful, sorted a new tv after running diagnostics on the one we returned.
Gave a refund for the difference of cost for a different make and also gave my dad an extra gift of £10 for the inconvenience of having to return the faulty tv.
They were really good at their job, customer service was ? excellent and l wouldn't hesitate buying from Currys for anything electrical l need in the future.
Great job guys and thank you for all your help, sincerely appreciated ?.

Another order ( that I was me at to pick up in a few hrs) that hasn't happened, I'm on the phone with them now, and they don't even have item in stock to pick up, and they wernt goin to tell me this, if u need something in a hurry DON'T USE ONLINE CURRY'S, AND THEN U HAVE TO WAIT 3 TO 5 DAYS FOR YR MONEY BACKK!!

Took ages to do the actual order over their computer system. However they were polite and apologetic.

Paid £750 for a fridge freezer and when I unpacked it the packaging had been rubbing on the tops of the doors and taken the grey paint off exposing the metal yet neither Currys or the Haier customer care cared! Absolutely disgusting customer service if you could even call it that! They just pass you between eachother saying it's neither of their responsibility! It will be when I dump it back across your doors! Definitely avoid this Currys and Haier products
