It was very uncomfortable in store due to a lack of space. I felt as if my visit and inspection was rushed with many normal steps in the eye test not taking place. I came away with no confidence in what I was told due to the rushed checks on my eyes.

Very helpful and kind staff, I had my little one with me when i went for my eye test, and the staff were warm towards us. My little one threw several tantrums, and i can imagine how that would have inconvenient them but this did not change the ambience.

Everything from the meet and greet, to the examination and Rajveer helping me choose my glasses and sunglasses was exceptional. I have been a customer at the Middlesbrough Hill Street store for years and I have constantly had brilliant service.

The reception was a welcoming one. Rajveer explained and took me through all the processes very well. Also, the optometrist, Haroon gave a detailed explanation on very step he took in examining my eyes.

On arrival, I was warmly greeted and directed where to wait. I was then greeted by the optician who requested my permission for her student to be present. Throughout my appointment I was directed what to do and the steps were explained, even going the extra mile to perform a longer distance test. I was advised of my new prescription in my next lenses and advised my next checkup of 6 months time before my appointment ended on a warm friendly note.

An amazing team of commensurate professionals !
Premises are kitted out with state of the art diagnostic equipment operated, in spite of the limited space, by all the staff.
Team is lead by Emma Shepherd and her assistance throughout the process is smooth and the staff obviously have benefitted greatly from her management abilities.
The premises have been negatively affected by the relocation from the larger Cleveland Centre but the Ladies have largely overcome the difficulties they have been forced to work under, please Boots reward this crack team with a facility designed to utilise their unique teamwork.
