Shocking service and attitude. If you like queuing this is the place. Only wanted to buy benylin but had to wait in the prescription queue. After 10 mins left. Would give it zero if possible.

Never been served so slowly in any shop?ever. Common simple items requested. Having waited ages for her to find one of my items, she would not sell me some of them because they were in a split box, even offered to pay full price. Absolutely rubbish service. I can see why they average only 3 stars. Go to Coopers in Great Ayton, which is where I went, rang them up and they put my items behind the counter for me. I hope the Boots shop staff and owners see this poor review and learn form from it??fat chance eh!

Waited for the pharmacy to open before work, asked if they had tick tweezers. They don't stock them but they do have a stack of tick awareness leaflets?! If somebody has had the presence of mind to stock a pile of leaflets did they not think it would be a good idea to actually sell products to treat the thing the leaflets are warning about?

I had to give 1 star wish it could have been 0. It is the worst chemist for attitude,lack of stock and 0 customer service. I have used for years but won't be using any longer. Today was the last straw...told to come back in 20 minutes and on my return they don't have the item I need. Won't bother getting my prescriptions sent there anymore.

Awful service, the male member serving was more interested in looking at his mobile, rather than dealing with customers. Plus, the prescription received is not correct.

Dreadful service. Takes 5 working days for a prescription. They are closed on Sun. Inside the shop is disorganised - empty shelves. Short of basics (eg hydrocortisone) & more. Lengthy queues. Till closed (no staff?).

Boots in stokesley is absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs if you can. I went in today to purchase an item and was stood for ages in a queue behind people who are using the pharmacy and have legitimate queries. But why don?t they have someone to serve in the shop, instead of making everyone join one queue. There must have been 8 pharmacy staff chatting and looking over, but no one acknowledged me or came over to help the girl serving. When I asked if there was anyone else to assist I was told no. I now even get my prescription sent to Great Ayton pharmacy because they never seem to get the prescriptions correct either. The attitude of the female member of staff was shocking when I complained and she just said we are very busy, I suggest you use elsewhere if you?re not happy!

On two very previous occasions at Boots the chemist in Stokesleyfound the counter service given by staff absolutely appalling !!The culmination of this being have now transferred to Cooper's in Great Ayton. Absolutely tip top there. No problems encountered whatsoever. Very happy now.

Only 3 people allowed in, difficult to see when customers are looking around the stalls, always helpful, nice staff.
