After spending lots of time yesterday trying to transfer monies from Barclays to Nationwide.I made a trip to Middlesbrough and found Claire who sorted my problem with great customer service.Something the online help couldnt provide Thankyou.

They are quite lack of management and knowledge . Bad customer experience and they were racist to me as an international student.

Went into the Barclay in Middlesbrough. Was very disappointed today. Was served by a man called Edika, found him very racist, was shouting at us, thinking he was was very ?intelligent?. I?ve never thought that Barclays service was like that, found it very racial discrimination.

Following an unsuccessful visit to Middlesbrough branch yesterday to try and resolve an online banking app error code, for which feedback has been provided, we had to return today. Completely different scenario, we were assisted by Glenda, who listened attentively and sympathetically to our issue. Apologised that we had had to return today with the same problem. She was very professional and courteous, acknowledged that the matter should have been resolved yesterday by the member of staff we spoke to. Glenda deserves praise for the manner in which she dealt with us. Exceptional customer service from her, for which we are extremely grateful.

From a personal customer perspective its terrible, machines only, no counter service, the people there are there to sell you banking products. Such a shame, barclays used to be great to all of its customers. Seems to only want to take care of the business customers now, probably something to do with the 2% fee they get whenever a business customers pays cash in. On a positive note, the branches are usually clean, tidy and the staff are usually very friendly.

Just had a phone call conversation with a staff member by the name of Dawn. She was extremely helpful, very friendly and pleasant to chat to and provided an all round brilliant service and experience. I only had a minor enquiry but she went out of her way to get all the details and info for me and made sure I was completely satisfied with the service before ending the call. 5 stars out of 5.

Rang "the number" given conflicting information and was told that when a letter was posted out it can take 18 days to arrive. Obviously being hand delivered when I asked to.raise a complaint about the service I had recieved they asked for my contact number incase unable to get me through surprise surprise my phone call was cut off. On the plus side they have my number so.may ring me I the next 18 days

First time using the atm machines on the inside as the outside ones were in use, looked around for help and all I saw were the staff chatting to each other had to literally shout for attention

Priority system in place. Brilliant idea. Great service. Excellent customer service.
