Visited yesterday for an online click and collect order.
The website checks the stock levels for you, and if in stock its usually ready for you within an hour of ordering.
You recieve a text and email to tell you to collect.
The store is located on a retail park, so the car park and surrounding roads are quite busy.
B&Q has plenty of parking though.
Once in, you need to go to a click and collect area and press a button for a member of staff to come and assist you.
My experience was very good, the young girl who helped me was very helpful and even offered to take my order to the car (I declined).
Whilst there I purchased some other items and used the click and collect tills (not easy with a big order in a trolley to navigate).
Overall a good experience and I would visit here again.

My husband and I visited this store today as we needed some laminated flooring. My husband has just finished chemotherapy treatment and can't lift anything. I explained this to the very friendly lady at the checkouts, who immediately got Robert to help lift it onto the trolley. After going through the checkout Robert and another lovely man helped to put the flooring into the car. We were so very grateful for thier help and want them to know how much we appreciated it. We couldn't have managed without them. Thank you.

Simple everything under one roof

No problem with the store or stock per se but when it comes to the checkout this store needs serious attention. Just one till open on a busy weekday lunchtime with queues 10-15 people long. NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO PAY BY CARD!! Open more tills!! I won't be back, Screwfix and Toolstation instead for me!

Visited this store few weeks back got what I needed all good, until I went to pay. The cashier was extremely rude and tried to force me to move to the self service as I was paying with my debit card. I pointed out i was next to be served and the self service tills were just as busy . Her response was to ask the couple behind me if they were paying cash or card, when they replied cash she told them to come forward and served them like I wasn't even there...

Have spent many thousands of pounds here over the years...never again. Self Service tills only, 'overseen' by just two harassed staff...six more around the area in groups, chatting. Needed a security tag removing..left after 10 minutes of inattention, leaving goods at the checkout

I came all away from Redcar to buy a shower tap and it would have take me or a staff less than 30 seconds to pick it up and go, but staff wasn't helpful at all blaming it was construction going on. Will get it else where

went to to use the cutting service on a mdf sheet to be refused the service. He said I could cut 5 free cuts for you but I?m not allowed to pay .50p per cut afterwards because he could see I wanted the sheet cutting into wall panelling strips. It states that this is the service you provide on your website. And still provided for trade customers. But now it?s been stopped 3 weeks ago as it is too time consuming and harsh on the blade. isn?t that what you pay the extra money for per cut? State that customers are no longer allowed this cutting service. Make it make sense? so I?m allowed 5 free cuts and not allowed to pay for extra cuts? How does that make sense. The store wasn?t even busy and the staff member was breaking up some old wood. Hardly busy. So disappointed and i took my business else where and they did my cuts for free. As many as I wanted.

Lots of stock. Friendly staff. Great little cafe - cafe now gone too. Unfortunately they have removed the returns desk from by the main doors and you now have to queue to get a refund at the main tills. Seemed to be a lot of staff standing round.
