Second time I have stayed nearby to the Sun Inn and each time have been in the pub 3 times
A down to earth Yorkshire locals pub
Beer is good and food is lovely home cooked and generous portions
Staff are always welcoming and Lucy Ricki Ellie and Emma were good fun efficient and hard working
Would highly recommend if you?re in the area

Had recommendation to try Sunday roast we were not disappointed it was gorgeous and plentiful, had to book table in advance as it gets very busy, would certainly book again. Dog friendly.

Long weekend away - visited pub for food. Very nice and friendly welcome. Cracking service and the food was absolutely beautiful and great portion sizes.

A rustic village pub, which is popular with the local community. Nothing fancy but with a nice atmosphere.
The food is AMAZING - locally sourced meats etc; home-cooked, and excellent value for money. I had the steak pie, which was outstanding - meat that melted and with suet pastry! I also had the treacle sponge with custard (made with milk! ?)
This is the second visit and looking forward to the next visit.
