Visted this place for the first time, absolutely amazing food, service was excellent, atmosphere really relaxing, owners were fantastic, nothing was a trouble, quality on a slate, food was right for two people, certainly worth the cost for a quality meal, definitely another visit

Called today after long walk had a coffee and a toasted sandwich with salad it was one off the best light snacks I have had in long time lovely friendly man served us, we will definitely be going back for sharing platter and some wine in the near future ?

We came here on sat lunch. We had 2 hours child free time and was looking forward to some quality time and food! Had the Mediterranean platter which was plentiful and delicious,lots of fresh ingredients. The staff were lovely happy and welcoming and the place is cute and intimate. We thought we would get a pudding and some coffee,however we soon changed
our mind as a table came in with 3 large dogs (was already 2 in the restaurant) so a total of 5 dogs in such a small room the smell of dog was so powerful and overwhelming we had to leave immediately. No way I could have enjoyed eating or drinking anything. Absolutely not the restaurants fault but perhaps should be certain days when dogs are allowed as personally I wouldn?t even bring my children to a place that small as it wouldn?t be fair on the other diners. We have dogs in the family and as much as I do love them a restaurant especially that small isn?t the place for them?? they did have a bark off with the current dogs and again that?s not ideal. Such a shame.

Visited with 5 friends on Friday 7th Feb. We had drinks and sharing platters. Everything was outstanding, a definitive cut above the rest, especially the cocktails! You can really tell the difference in quality and attention to detail. Cheese and wine is most certainly my thing, but this was superb ?
I messaged the owner to tell her how much we'd all enjoyed our night and to let her know that what she's doing is fab, appreciated and not gone unnoticed. After all, it's important to let people know they're doing a good job, right?!
A solid 5 stars from me. Would go every week if I could afford it! ????

Excellent. From the quality of the balsamic to the freshness of the salad. Perfection. The subtlety and balance of the homemade dishes speaks volumes of the skill and care of the proprietors.
I'd recommend you book and you try the platters.
There are a few steps, and space is tight.

We highly recommend Rose & Potter, not only for the hospitality but for the amazing platters. We had the fish platter not long ago, it was delicious. Most definitely worth a visit! ??????????

First visit this weekend. Absolutely THE BEST cheese & wine deli I?ve visited. Beautiful wines , generous boards, well priced and top it off friendly owners and staff who clearly love what they do. Thank you for an amazing meal and night , I shall be back!!

We've been to Rose and Potter a few times since moving to the area a year ago. The platters are excellent - great ingredients and plenty too. The fish platter is a special treat but remember to book that one ahead. Great wine, beer and cocktails too. ?

We ordered a mixed meats and cheese platter and it was gorgeous. Plenty to choose from, quality food and the chutney was spectacular. We paid extra for the clucking egg, which was a great addition. Will defo be ordering again in the future.
