I just don?t understand why someone would go here to have bland, mass-produced, could-be-anywhere coffee and food when just a few minutes away you could support local business and go to either Leoni?s, Roost or the Patisserie which are all fantastic.

Costa coffee in Malton very clean ,not so in Scarborough and Whitby .Outside areas dirty ,tables need cleaning after people inside crowded .plant based foods very limited

Only went in for a takeaway coffee. The machine was filthy. Reusing dirty coffee cup. Whole area was dirty. Obviously don't clean in between servings. This was fairly early in the morning, so what would it be like by the end of the day? Nasty. Not going there again.

Great place to have a coffee and a chat. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and always good standards and food. Whilst I was there I was confronted with a young lady who was there with her friends, she beamed and sat there like the Mona Lisa.

Food I think it's time for a change in cake lines. Too many chocolate things. Everything else goes down well with coffee etc.
