Visited today with son and his family, grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the soft play and role play areas. Parents and grandparents thoroughly enjoyed them enjoying the play areas, under all our supervision, and all of us enjoyed the variety of freshly cooked food on offer. Very warm welcome on arrival with clear advice on facilities and responsibilities. Thank you to all staff for the lovely service, food, drinks and a relaxing and enjoyable few hours. Recommend pre-booking for the food. We look forward to next time!

We spent a very rainy morning of our holiday here with our 21 month old, the staff are really friendly and helpful and there is a fabulous relaxed atmosphere. Our little absolutely loved the soft play and happily spent at least a couple of hours climbing, sliding and running and she would probably have stayed longer! We had a pleasant lunch of baked potatoes and warm baguettes. We would definitely visit again if we were in the area! Our only very slight suggestion would be to get some new batteries for some of the role play toys . Overall a really enjoyable experience, well done guys you really are doing a wonderful job! I wish there was something like this local to us!!

It's ok for a morning or afternoon ., for kids to let some steam or energy off. Not much room for tiny 1yrs to play or crawl about in. Could do with extending the place od all ages of kids.

Just called in for some food on our way to Scarborough and the staff were amazing and the food is so fresh and tasty ? I will definitely come back here! Xxx

Seriously disappointing. Very shabby and grubby soft play area in serious need of upgrading and attention. Balls everywhere but no specific ball pit. Clearly not kept clean and tidy each day and we were there in the morning so it should have been at its best. It?s also very small so would be awful if there were lots of children trying to play. We didn?t bother with the cafe after experiencing the grubby play area. We will not be returning.

Cheap and fun kids play. Think it was about £3 for my 1 year old. The girls in here are really friendly and there?s plenty to keep kids busy for hours and hours. Just what we were looking for to stop at on our journey home

Absolutely love captain barney's. All the staff are amazing and so welcoming.We've attended many events there and my kids always have an amazing time. Having both indoor and outdoor play areas gives the kids lots of opportunity to play and use their imaginations.Highly recommended!

Ideal for my Grandchildren they love it there plus you can also get hot and cold food and hot and cold drinks you can easily spend 3 hours or more there
