Just back from a long weekend with my son. I had read reviews after booking and was apprehensive but needn't have worried as everything was great. We stayed in the cheapest caravan type which was right beside the (back) entrance to the park in the Hawthorn area. It meant that nipping back to change wet clothes or grab a snack was easy and we loved feeling like we could come and go. You can use the park on the days you arrive and leave which is a bonus. Caravan was clean and comfortable and in great condition - no complaints. The swimming pool on site was absolutely brilliant. Not busy at all in early July even on a rainy afternoon which surprised me. We'd have loved it to stay open later as last admission is at 5pm. The flumes were good, there is a fun water play area outside for the kids and best of all there's a jacuzzi with a view of the pool so you can keep an eye on your kids but get a bit of relaxation. The park itself was fantastic. It's laid out well with similar age rides/experiences grouped together and there were some cute little versions of the big white knuckle rides. The tiny kids screaming on the Frog Hopper were hilarious. Queue times were surprisingly not bad the first weekend in July - rarely more than about 30 mins and at times quite a bit less. Maybe that's because the weather was a bit mixed? The zoo is really good and the talks are worth attending. Only downside for us in the park was people smoking everywhere - in the middle of a kids playground, in the queues, at outdoor eating areas. We ate in the park or got takeaway most of the time. You can check out menus online. Food is a bit beige/fried but I guess that's what sells. I was dying for some vegetables and found a nice salad in the American diner. Last but not least have to say how welcoming and friendly everyone working there was. We're glad we visited, thank you!

The whole family of 4 enjoyed our 4 day stay at Flamingo land. This was our first time and we all loved it. We would all return and would recommend others to visit also. Starting with the plus points: The Zoo was fantastic. Just loved seeing the Hippos in the lake, the Sealion show, the Wallaby walkway to name a few. It is clear to see the facilities are top class. I would say it is the nicest Zoo I have visited. Theme park: Great fun and the queues were not too bad for half term week. Good variety of rides for big and small. The staff were always very friendly. Accommodation: The Caravan we stayed in was nice and modern with a decked area. Only came with 2 outside chairs for the 4 of us, but due to the weather we didn't really use the decking too much. The caravan could do with a dish washing rack and a dustpan and brush. The staff at reception were accommodating and polite. We enquired about getting two more chairs for the decking area, but were told it wasn't possible. We ate out each evening and found 'The Coach House' had the nicest setting, with good food, nice staff and quite a quick service. Couldn't believe the cost of a round of drinks at 'Riverside One'. 1 cocktail, 1 pint, 1 cider and 1 Fanta came to £26. This averages at £6.5 per drink, that was a shock. Not sure how people manage it to be honest. Evening entertainment: What a disappointment. Went on the first night and didn't return. Should put on kids entertainment between 6-8 pm and bingo type for later on. Management need to look at what Europarc offer for ideas. When you pay over £1200 for a 4 night stay, you should be able to sit in the clubhouse for at least an hour in the evening and be entertained. The repeated shouts of 'please remove your children from the stage' etc. were extremely annoying, just put up a barrier for heavens sake. We couldn't stand the noise and left after 30 mins. We knew the entertainment had been bumped by an hour and sitting in a dark, loud room with nothing to do was not the best option. Then the noise from the clubhouse from 10pm onwards was extremely loud. Not sure that level is required. Overall it was a great holiday. Our family ranged from age 11 to 55.

THIS REVIEW IS MAINLY AIMED AT THE DINER!! We had late lunch/early diner here on one day of our stay and breakfast on the day we left. Everything was great, prices are a bit high for what your serving but it's expected in a place like Flamingoland. Karen one of the waitress' is a credit to the place she made sure my family and I had everything we needed and even spent sometime chatting with the kids and asking about their holiday. She even remembered us a few days after and again made sure we had the best time. We rented privately and couldn't fault a thing. Only day we had to queue for anything was Monday (Bank holiday) the rest of the week the kids where mostly on the rides by them selves. We over all had an amazing time. 2nd visit to Flamingoland and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Camping at the wrong time, not many families just massive groups of travelling families. I have nothing against the travel communities a lot are very friendly and well spoken. But after 12 midnight it become disco city on the campsite. Wacky races and drunken partying. The toilet blocks were disgraceful toilets deliberately vandalised flooded and rubbish everywhere . Security we?re doing the day walkabouts but we?re never seen after dark. I know we all every community like our holidays but please police and control the over excited communities so all can enjoy. The park and zoo were a deluge and thoroughly enjoyed the days there

Stayed in a private caravan as flamingoland charges a ridiculous price. We have been going every year since 2009 and of course prices will increase but paying 850 for a caravan then over 450 for bands , the food is expensive and not great quality in the restaurants in the park. We do always have a good time but it's cheaper as a family of 7 now to actually go abroad than come here anymore.

I have just arrived home from 5 days camping. Having been for a week in 2016 I expected a little change but not the drastic decline I experienced. I have a beautiful tent, with beautiful clean set up. The ONLY place I felt clean all week was in that tent! The campsite was rammed with foul mouthed families, domestic arguments, near child safeguarding issues, loud (very loud) music, litter, dirty toilets and showers. I have never experienced such a noisy inconsiderate rough campsite ever. I'm a friendly person happy to smile and say hello to fellow campers, shame everyone else only seemed to care about themselves, get drunk, shout at their children and leave the toilets, showers, washing up facilities in a mess. You don't expect to have to clean everything before you use it. It would also appear that people who smoke weed (up to them, in own home/garden) have the inability to recognise how strong the smell is, day and night! We struggled to find anywhere open to eat in the evening, not like its full on summer holidays is it?! With places being closed several days a week! Rides were closed frequently. Food places that were open were dirty with sticky floors and tables and staff that couldn't care less. Zoo was bitter sweet but a sanctuary all the same. Fortunately the resort shop was well stocked and staff friendly! The rides the girls did manage to get on they enjoyed. Feel sure that holiday guests used to get in earlier to access rides before general opening time. Fair to say we won't be returning. For £700 all in all I'd rather stay home!

We just got home from a week camping at flamingo land resort and have to say we were slightly disappointed by the whole experience. We paid £700 for 7 nights on the early bird offer for a camping pitch with electric. I hate to imagine how much people are paying to stay in the static caravans at that time of year. Anyway we though having access to the park everyday would easily out weigh the price because we wouldn't leave the site to have to entertain the kids. Check in - slooooow!!! So very very slow. Camp site - generally pretty clean, they do have security walking round occasionally, but what they actually do I have no idea, they certainly don't ask campers to keep any noise down at any time of the night or keep the site safe from rubbish and empty glass alcohol bottles that campers leave lying around. The site can be noisy at night. Really noisy, groups with loud music and singing, drinking and smoking weed (pretty much any time of day for that one!) Camp site toilets - There are 3 toilet blocks in the main camping field, all different with different levels of cleanliness. Every block has a sign saying male cleaner on duty, ?? I don't know where he was because the toilets certainly we're not cleaned every day, toilet paper was replenished maybe once a day, but I saw the toilets we used in what I would consider a freshly cleaned state once in 8 days. Swimming - Good swimming pool facilities, with nice long opening hours. Theme park - first impressions were good but slowly dwindled. The rides are often closed, one didn't open all week, one of the bigger rides was open the day we arrived one random day in the middle of the week then closed again the the rest of our stay. Rides should open at 10am but we're often not open till around 1pm because of the daily checks etc. Because we were there a week we did get to go on everything we wanted to over the week but I am sure lots of day visitors are disappointed. The problem is when the big ride close it makes the other queues really long. We found some other park visitors to just be out right rude. People would push and walk right into you to get on a ride you were trying to leave (the smaller kids rides) try and queue jump to get to their friends half way down the queue line and at times just push you out their way (In the evening entertainment I picked my bag up off my chair as I turned to sit on it another guest shoved her coat and bag on the chair, I almost sat on her hand!) Food - any take away outlets are slow! There is just no flow to the service, they also advertise offers on the big screens that they then don't actually offer when you get to that outlet. Very misleading. Food is expensive, but that's expected. The Chinese do a decent meal. Zoo - The zoo, animals and it's staff are the redeeming feature of the resort. My 2 kids did the zoo ranger activity the 3 days it was available and loved it. We watched the bird show 3 times and saw different birds each time and watched the sea lion show twice and got different info each time. The animal talks and feeding are great and the keepers always stick around to answer any questions etc, they are all so friendly and really engage with visitors. Overall, we probably wouldn't visit again in a hurry.

We went to flamingoland on a family holiday staying for a week the accommodation was adequate for the 4 of us and we had a lovely time made all the better by getting to know some of the very lovely staff I'd like to say all of the staff are lovely but I just can't do that. I'd like to say the Adrian, Benjamin and Danny on the games were exceptional and made every visit to the games like Hook a duck, tin can ally and hook a bag worth every penny with their banter and wit and they were so great with the kids I can't say enough to show how much they did a great job. in the zoo bar by far the best member in there was Chelsea she was sweet chatty and an all round good member of staff I would quite happily hire her to serve in any bar and can't say enough about how great she was. In the arcade my son lost his card and Kevin one of the supervisors made it so that nothing was lost and made sure my son had nearly everything he had lost. All in all the 5 members I have mentioned made the entire stay worth the hassle we had. They are the very best of the best and hope to see them next time we stay there as without them I don't think we would have enjoyed our stay as much as we did

Had a day here with my son?s, expected to wait in long queues for the rides but were not too bad.The park was a little untidy , probably short staffed as there didn?t seem to be many around. But even with litter around it did not spoil a good day.Food a little pricey but same everywhere now.

Was here with my wife and two teenage kids on 3/8/22 .Ques we?re not to bad for the rides , the new rollercoaster sik is excellent. My with doesn?t go on the rides so I wouldn?t have liked to pay full price but we managed to get half price tickets through planet offers so £70 for a day out for the 4 of us was ok .Can?t comment on the zoo as we didn?t go and never ate there either so can?t comment on that either.

The place to start off with is a shambles, came at 10am and nothing opened until 12pm. Got stuck on a ride, wouldn?t let us off for 30 mins, no shelter from the sun I must add. All the staff did was laugh and say nothing we can do! The place is falling apart and we still pay top dollar for this. All I can say is what a joke!

Chav central. Music and Adults acting like they?re at a school disco screaming at all hours. No sleep. Rip off prices in the parks that makes Disney look cheap. Avoid avoid AVOID!!!!! Half the rides aren?t operating, and the staff really could care less if you have a problem or not. Absolutely no security on site despite what they?d have you believe. Absolute disgusted at this park and the inhabitants. Save your money and go to Disney/Anywhere but this absolute dumpster fire of a place.

We had a family day out on the 4/8/22 for my daughters birthday. We arrived at 10.30 and stayed until 6pm. We only managed about 3 rides as the wait times where so long. I wouldn't mind so much but the fact the app and rides would lie about the wait time meant we missed out on every single show. We would jump on a 30 minute queue and be there for over an hour. Then when we got off the rides it was impossible to get any photos as the staff clearly had better places to be and really couldn't be bothered to do photos. This meant a very poor and slow service. I waited for another 20 minutes for them to print photos for the family infront and when they still hadn't finished I left. Only 2 members of staff in the whole place where polite and helpful! Now the animals. 1 camera worked to see the animals if they where in their homes. Then we went around the other exhibits to realise they are empty. I am all for animals hiding from the humans but they simply aren't there. On top of that, they looked really miserable. Dont even bother with the lost kingdom!! Half the anomatronic dinosaurs are missing body parts. I know they are extinct but you need to choose. Either have dinosaur skeletons or have dinosaurs that look alive. The in between look isn't a good one. Now the food. It takes real skill to fry fish and chips that badly. How they managed soggy and solid chips at the same time I don't know. Over all it was massively overpriced and the whole experience ruined my daughters birthday. I love to support zoos that help with saving any animal. This will not be one I support any more.
