Dog and child friendly, providing games for the kids like connect 4 and Uno which my 11 year old loved. Also had good food and drinks. Only pub I found that showed premiership football in area.

Great drinks and snacks enjoyed after a day's walking. We didn't have any food, but there were plenty of other people dining and the food going out smelled delicious. Dog friendly too.

Love this place! Food is amazing and when we stayed her about 6 years ago, the room was lovely. Small, but perfect. The staff are amazing and Malham is one of my favourite places to visit in The Dales. Must stop here after doing Janet's Foss, Gordale Scar and Malham Cove.

Perfect for a drink and some food, after exploring the stunning scenery around Malham. We visited Malham Tarn during the day for a lovely circular walk, and then the Cove at about 6pm, after all the crowds and traffic had dispersed. It's the best time to go.
The pub was busy, but not packed at 7pm, we got a table in the bar area and had a nice meal. The beer selection is very good and well kept, just what we needed after a day walking.

A Warm Welcome, Delicious Food, and Outstanding Service
We had a fantastic experience at this welcoming and friendly pub. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, the food was excellent with generous portions, and the staff couldn?t have been more accommodating.
A special mention goes to Rachel (who I believe may be the manager, as she seemed to have a hand in everything). She was absolutely lovely ? friendly, attentive, and full of helpful local knowledge. Her enthusiasm and professionalism truly stood out and made us feel right at home. She's a real asset to the team.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a genuine local pub experience.

We popped into the Buck Inn after a long day's hiking in and around Malham. The beer was well kept and just what we needed and the service from Connor and the team was excellent.
I've not left a score for the rooms as we didn't stay, but judging by what was on offer at the bar, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Dog friendly pub. Has a bar side and a restaurant side. Food is good but not many non-meat options. Drinks range is good. Dog mats and treats at the entrance makes it very dog friendly

Both my wife and I wish that our experience at this hotel had been more extensive and we intend to make that happen sometime soon.
Why? We just happened to be half way round our walk when we saw the hotel and thought it would make a convenient early lunch stop.
We were made very welcome by Will, who zi commend not just for his attention but for his friendly service which set the tone for our overall impression.
Coffees and soft drinks were delivered to our table and as tome was limited we both ordered carrot and coriander soup.
Now, I've lost count of how many dishes of this soup I've eaten, but I know without any doubt where I ate the best one: The Buck Inn.
First impressions were on the eye: smallish rectangular plate with an interestingly shaped bowl, containing a rich, orange coloured soup with croutons and chopped green leaves scattered on the surface.
The impact of the taste, I won't forget in a hurry. My first spoonful made me realise that when eating this soup previously, I'd never been fully aware of the taste of coriander. The soup in front of me tasted of both carrot and coriander. By far the best I have ever experienced.
As we restarted our walk, both my wife and I wondered what sort of experience 3 courses at this inn would be like.
Congrats to the chef and management. Pride in small details is important and this pub can certainly be proud of their culinary service.
