Truly exceptional food with an extensive and varied menu, all cooked to a sublime quality and presented beautifully. Picturesque location next to an idyllic stream and handily located for nearby walks as well as a trip to the Peaks. The welcome we received was so warm and we loved the fact that dogs were a huge part of the stay.

Beck Hall is beautiful and in a great position in Malham. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was good.I'm not a vegan but thought i'd try a vegan experience, i was disappointed and this was simply because fake steaks and fake chicken burgers are always going to be a poor substitute for the real thing. I'd of love to of tried proper vegan food but found the menu lacking in this area.

In a word, divine. The food is all plant-based and amazing, the rooms are cozy and fairly well-appointed and cozy, and the location is amazing. We stayed two nights and enjoyed several hikes and a lot of great food. The afternoon tea is very affordable and the sandwiches, scones and desserts are delicious. The breakfast has varied options and all that we tried were great. There are so many options for lunch and dinner and we didn't have a single choice we regretted. Our favourites were the juicy marbles steak, the pesto chicken baguette, seitan ballotine and the "steak" pudding. For dessert, the pomegranate and rose mess and the chocolate pot are not to be missed. We really enjoyed the ambiance as well as all the dogs we would see in the restaurant and on the hikes. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. We are already planning our next visit!Nearby activities: Malham Cove circular hike, or a shorter hike just to Janet's Foss

We had a lovely vegan meal and afternoon tea in this lovely space. The staff were friendly and professional and the food was absolutely delicious. The little girl with us was treated like a princess!

We stayed for one night and had a fantastic time. They have done a great job of maintaining the original character whilst still ensuring the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Some of the best vegan food I?ve had. - the evening in particular was amazing (?steak? pie superb). Breakfast was very good, only the sausages could maybe do with upgrading. Dog friendly in the extreme!Reading some of the one star reviews from people complaining that?s it?s a vegan hotel yet haven?t even stayed is truly bizarre. Too much time on their hands.Keep up the good work!

Absolutely fantastic service, food and atmosphere. Have been wanting to go here for a while now and the wait was absolutely worth it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is absolutely amazing. Don't be put off by the negative reviews about the car park. Yes it may only be for the hotel guests but the short walk from the village car park really isn't an issue. Again, absolutely stunning. Will definitely be back very soon! Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Beck Hall.Pros: Friendly staff, Food was amazing , LocationCons: Absolutely nothing

You should visit! Out of this world food at breakafast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The menu is fabulous. We tried Beck Hall breakfast, asian style banana blossom, mushy peas & chips, seitan beef style & mushroom wellington sunday lunches, pomegrnate & rose mess & lemon chia cheesecake - all fantastic. Staff are allergy aware. The idyllic calming stream side location is just a 15 minute stroll from Malham Cove. An ideal holiday setting with amazingly welcoming staff & an undertone of kindness bubbling from all who visit too. We loved relaxing in the stylish glass walled restaurant, listening to cool playlists warmed by a woodburner. A great wine list, local ales and delicious coffees. You will sleep well in all the cosy bedrooms & can take your dogs along too. If you have n t got a dog you csn help spoil another guest's pooch. Vegan heaven. Please bookRooms: We stayed in a historical room the blue room which looked over the stream and bridge. We could hear the stream. The bedroom has dark old style gorgeous furniture and a tall soft bed with shower room with vegan friendly soaps etc. Plenty of tea / coffee & plant milk and biscuits in the roomWalkability: When you arrive in the car park you will have to walk over a small narrow bridge over the stream to the hotel entrance. There are miles are great and beautiful walks on your doorstepFood & drinks: The Irish coffees were delicious. We tried Ilkley ales - nice! The pomegranate & rose mess was a 15/10 large portion
