This shop and its owners cannot be praised highly enough. During lockdown, nothing was too much trouble; a phone call the night before to the shop for groceries, essentail items etc and they were delived the next day along with the newspaper, Thank you Tony, Rachel and staff

I once stayed in the village and was served here by a lady who was very nice. We bought groceries every day. Yesterday, on passing and I popped in for old times sake. I had just cleaned my hands outside with anticeptic from my bag, but on entering with mask on, I glanced up to see wine just by the checkout three strides away. So I stepped towards it. A man told me off from behind the counter. I was told to clean my hand. I did this as I saw his point. He didn't know I had just done so. Then I stepped towards the wine. Noone was in the shop but us two. "Go around the long one way!" He blasted at me. Then told me I was putting his staff and customers at risk.I just wanted a bottle, to pay and go. He told me I was making my own rules and tried to make me embarrassed and when other customers finally arrived, I had had enough and told him to forget it. If any other customers were in or staff, I would have avoided them willingly. What was the sense in walking all around a shop in that situation.

Rude person running the store not very nice and would not recommend giving the custom- 2 metre distance impossible in such a small shop
