Beer and food here was really nice. Friendly welcome and good service. Little limited on parking so had to find a space on the road.

A really 'Jolly', atmospheric, traditional pub with friendly, cheerful staff. Excellent choice of food and drinks, all served with a smile. Super little pub.

Lovely pub with friendly staff. Delicious Sunday roast. Beautifully cooked and rice pudding and jam was the best I've ever had. My husband was equally impressed with his sticky toffee pudding. Can't wait to come back.

Lovely quiet pub that serves incredible food. What quality and care went into the preparation and cooking the flavours and textures are sublime, one of the best meals I have in a long time. Staff and locals all welcoming even with my active daughter, I will definitely visit again. Worth every penny!

Lovely pub with friendly staff, a great atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommended if you?re in the area. And only half an hour?s drive from York through some great Wolds scenery - so well worth making a special trip. But probably as well to book a table. It?s busy.
