Was nice. But unfortunately food was cold no serving spoons and not a lot of vegetables for 4 adults. My grandson eats more.

Called for Sunday lunch. Staff young and inexperienced, to the point the young lad behind the bar struggled to pull a pint of peroni. The food arrived cold, so sent it back, and returned only luke warm. The beef was tough as old boots, and vegetables cold and undercooked cauliflower cheese. They advertise rich, thick gravy, it was thin, watery and not good at all. Would not recommend the food here.

Went for a birthday meal but unfortunately took an hour and a half for birthday girls meal to arrive which was after everyone else had eaten. Food was lovely but service let it down. Even when asked for something to take rest of food away, only a box came for the pizza and nothing for rest of the food. Maybe would go for a drink in future but not to eatFood & drinks: Cocktails and 0%alcohol available.

I'm going to start this with my only smallcomplaint that the WiFi could be better... as to end with it would be a crime.Soo, I stop away with work most nights and so far for £90 with breakfast this is by far the nicest room I have had, comfy bed, powerful hot shower, loads of space but still cosy. And a seating area worth using.Food is excellent at least what I had.

We stayed in room 4 weekend if 3/4th Feb. Great room, very comfy with a sofa and extra space. Staff were fantastic, the food and service was far better than we expected. Couldn?t fault it, definitely back. The lad working that evening and for Sunday breakfast is an asset to the business.

Lovely interior setting. I had Sunday lunch, pork, which was not a patch on the Sunday lunch the week before at the Victoria in Cattall. Three tiny pieces of pork and a meal that was far from hot. The waiting staff did offer to warm it for me but I didn't fancy a microwaved or reheated lunch so declined. The waiting staff were young and obviously not trained to a good standard of service as I would have thought maybe a coffee on the house could have been offered, this would have encouraged me to maybe return another day!

Just Lovley!! we wanted another night off the cuff the room was available but wanted to charge another £40 on top of what we were originally paying. We didn't stay such a shame as we also spent around £85 for dinner so altogether they lost out on nearly £200 for a room that was available and a meal. Left us feeling the stay was a little tarnished. However it is a beautiful place and the food was gorgeousRooms: Room 4 Fab bed!! Bathroom drafty!Food & drinks: Delish!!

We stopped here for one night for my birthday. What a great find. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating, food was gorgeous very warm cosy vibes about it which I love. Be definitely returning with the family.Rooms: Very impressed. The beds were so comfy we didn't want to get out ? lovely and clean very cosy with a great selection on hot and cold drinks.Nearby activities: We went into the town centre and visit Knaresbrough castle. Lovely little walk with amazing views. We was going to do a boat trip as well but with it being winter guessing it was closed so will be back to visit in the spring to do boats and Mother Shiptons cave.Food & drinks: Food was beautiful very tasty. Reasonable priced for such good quality food. Lot long wait time either which is an added bonus

Stayed at The Blue Bell for four nights over the New Year. Fabulous rooms, large, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were professional and extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was really good with plenty of options and our New Year's Eve dinner was exceptional. The pub was atmospheric and cosy and a nice place to relax in the evening. Great value for money!
