Great little place. Mother's Day lunch which did not disappoint. Very busy which was great to see. The acid test is "would I go back?" Yes I would.

What a Gem, amazing food, fantastic service, wonderful atmosphere, I can't recommend this place enough. Spur of the moment visit, it happened to be steak night, it was as good as any speciality steak house. Definitely worth a visit
Carriages is an institution in the pretty North Yorkshire market town of Knaresborough.
