On a recent trip to the area we popped in here for some lunch. Initially struggled to find a table due it been really busy. Managed to find one and ordered some food.
I went for a chicken gourmet burger and when the food arrived order was completely wrong I had been given a beef burger with some brisket style sauce on it so not a great start. From ordering to the food arriving was good turnaround and when going back to the bar for another pint again a quick process.
One of the staff dropped a glass near to my table which was quite inconvenient but she apologised profusely all good no issue.
Atmosphere was good for lunch time many people taking advantage of the free wi-fi on offer but the majority of the clientele was OAPs which you would expect for somewhere like Knaresborough on a weekday.
Overall like any wetherspoons good value for money for both drinks and food with quick friendly service. If your in Knaresborough I would recommend a visit here.

Very busy. Usual fare, small fish n chips x 4. Very well cooked, beautiful fish. A lovely meal. Enjoyed it very much.

For a weatherspoons its a really good one, a nice building, plenty of seating and friendly staff.

Came here while on holiday
In general not a bad Weather spoons.
Used it a couple of times.
Coffee is always good value and free refills if you want.
Breakfast was good nice and hot well cooked.
Staff seem friendly,
Could do with a bit more attention to general cleaning in this establishment is my only criticism certainly not filthy by any means.

Food choice is very poor for those who can't eat gluten. There needs to be a wider choice on the menu.

Been to a number of Wetherspoons pubs in the past year and this BY FAR is the best, they actually had staff clearing and cleaning tables, friendly staff, clean area, bathrooms clean and well maintained, a credit to this one as we were EXTREMELY close to not returning to any after previous experiences where they were just dirty, cluttered and awful to put it bluntly

Usual wetherspoons, great value, but understaffed at bar , long wait to be served . Always get the impression the bar staff are neither keen nor motivated.

I went to the toilet with my child and was absolutely shocked to find a CCTV camera right above the urinals. I asked the staff and they confirmed it?s real.
This is a gross invasion of privacy and possibly illegal under UK law. Cameras in areas where people are exposed? Are you serious?
I will be reporting this to the Information Commissioner?s Office. Completely unacceptable and disturbing experience. Avoid this place if you care about privacy.
