“Popped out for a traditional Sunday roast. Two other pubs advertising this option in Knaresborough were actually not offering it. We went into the Groves and they provided an excellent, properly cooked Sunday lunch, plenty of tender roast beef hand cut carrots, a variety of green veg and a huge home made Yorkshire pudding, with an option of cauliflower cheese, finally the price a mere £12.95 per head, we'll definitely be back. Lovely helpful staff and very reasonably priced drinks.”
