Utterly disgusting hygiene standards when a large dog was sick on the floor staff didn?t clean it up, owner did half a job it looked and smelly harrowing and we had to leave?and were retching for an age and forced to get some clean smelling air?they should be closed down for this shocking level of cleanliness not a sign of antibacterial spray around and customers still sitting in that location?it isn?t safe to consume anything here. Tried to report it no response so disinterested clearly?so no excuse on any level

Bought a late and a hot chocolate and the staff member asked if I wanted cream on the hot chocolate which I said to her no thanks and then I heard her talking to other staff members about who buys a hot chocolate and not have cream on it and then continued to ask me to more times while making it to which said no again.
How hard is it to take an order make it and mind your own business. People like different drinks

Decent marketplace coffee shop with friendly staff

We asked for a vegan plant based product and got a cheese lattice. After my wife bit into it and tasted the cheese she took it back and was meet with sass and attitude. Then the manager brought over the vegan roll with no apology just banged down with more sass, then banging chairs around us to make us feel uncomfortable. May be time for HQ to come and conduct some training In customer service or time for people who are obviously not happy at work to find a job where they don't have to deal with members of the public.

It's a bit drab. Coffee is usually a bit bitter and the cakes can be a bit dry later on in the day.
Seating is shabby and the place looks a bit grim

Had such a great experience, the staff were so friendly and very helpful. I forgot my phone charger plug and my phone was close to dying but the lovely people behind the counter let me borrow a plug so I could charge my phone while I was having a drink . They really helped me. They didn?t have to help me but they seemed so happy too which is rare

A lovely warm day in Knaresborough and a lovely stop off for coffee snd hot chocolate. We did enjoy relaxing (we were not rushed) and will definitely go again.

We tend to stay with Nero when visiting towns. However this is one of the best. Excellent drinks lovely staff nice atmosphere. Everything you want.
