I am truly impressed with the level of courtesy and respect I received throughout my experience. Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and professional, making the entire process smooth and pleasant. The work carried out on my 6-year-old car is outstanding ? it now feels like a brand-new vehicle again! I will definitely be using Vertu Vauxhall for all my future car needs.

Do not use. They don't know anything about cars. Just want your money.
I was told my insignia needed a o2 sensor. Which was changed at 371 pound.
After 24 hours engine management light again.
And readed sam fault caod.

We have had good experiences previously with this garage,
but this time was somewhat different?
I checked in today for my yearly service at 10am and was told that we might have to wait until 5pm for collection as it was a waiting appointment. I was shocked at this as in the past they have always serviced my car on time and it has been completed a few hours later. They should have really notified me to let me know it might not have even looked at until late in the afternoon. I just presumed the procedure would be the same as it always has been as I was not told any different.
My appointment was going to be cancelled for today and re booked. I told him that I did not have any other free dates (moving house and busy schedule) and the following week I had my MOT booked at another garage. He tried to convince me to cancel my MOT and re book it with Vertu Vauxhall at Knaresborough. I refused this as I knew a different garage for my MOT would be cheaper as a lot of money gets added on for labour charges at Vertu. I then complained about all of this as I had an appointment elsewhere later that day and and it was their mistake in the first place. I was then told that my car would be serviced at 10am that day.
My other appointment that day was to have my alloys done later in the afternoon elsewhere. I was initially told that my service should have been done for around 2pm. When I returned back to the garage after lunch I was told of the work that needed to be done on my car. The pollen filter needed changing but they were having to wait for the part until 3.30pm. I contacted the alloy team to try to cancel that appointment and they said why don?t I come up now to the garage you are at? I asked the employee at Vertu Vauxhall if this was possible, and I told him we took out the alloy insurance through them in the first place. I was told on two separate occasions that no this would not be allowed. The man from the alloy place came up anyway and yes he could do my alloys there after all. The employee at Vertu Vauxhall then approached us and denied what he had said to us.
After this we needed two tyres replacing and I was charged for them even though I have tyre and alloy insurance. I told the employee this and we were told to submit a claim to the alloy company for the tyres. I am a little cross about this as I have had to pay out quite a bit for two tyres that I should not have had to pay for. In the past when new tyres were fitted they never charged us for them due to our insurance.
After all of the above was done we did not leave the garage until 5pm and we had got there at 10am that morning. I felt sorry for the employee as he told us he was in training. The lady that was supposed to be helping him only came out to him once for 5 minutes. The rest of the day he was on his own managing all of this. I think he did a great job dealing with it all and everyone else under the circumstances. Well done! He really did try his best and was very polite. It was disappointing he was being trained and no one was with him. It made our day a lot longer as we did not get home until late.
** UPDATE 2ND REVIEW**
I am absolutely disgusted. I was told on my last service at this garage that parts of the front section of my exhaust needing replacing. I even have a photo to prove this and I was quoted £600 and some for this. I was told this would be a MOT failure. However on the video from Vauxhall it never mentioned any work needing doing on the exhaust. It just said slight corrosion on the surface but normal for the age of the vehicle. I have just had my MOT done today (different garage) and they said there wasn?t anything wrong with my exhaust and my car passed! Disappointed with Vauxhall Knaresborough for trying to rob me of all that money when it didn?t even need doing. Disgrace.

Vertu Vauxhall Knaresborough were great with my recent car purchase. They were able to sort the finance agreement on my previous car, and worked within my budget for the new vehicle. Paul, the employee leading the sale was very personable and knowledgeable, as were the managers of the show room.
After sale, I noticed a few minor issues with the vehicle which the dealership were able to resolve quickly.

We,my wife and I will never step foot in your car dealership knaresborough bristol street motors ever again after the way your sales adviser ( Not names mentioned here yet ) treated us and grossly under valued our px, bought brand new from same dealership, supose to have equity in the value but guess what, they invented issues with the car to undervalue it so the price came in at the exact amount outstanding on the loan, how can that be when the milage after three years is less then the equivalent average miles for one year, the car also in extremely good condition uther than a couple of scratched alloy wheels,perfectly normal for modern alloys being so soft the practically melt when you so much as look at a curb stone.
Anyway we walked out feeling very insulted at such a ridiculous and made up valuation, I will tell you we called at another vauxhall dealer and was offered 3 grand more against the same upgrade.
I will call your sales tactics out for what they are, robbing cheating unprofessional con artist

went in to have my vehicle wet belt replaced and have my car serviced. Didn't hear anything back regarding the status of my car till i had to ring them, where they told me that it had just been done, but it was just before closing, i went in to collect my car but wasn't giving any documentation or invoice on the work that had been done. They also hadn't washed the car like i had chosen for them to do, the inside of the car was also left with all the wrapping and paper in the car and hadn't bothered to take it out. I had to chase them up again the next day to receive the vehicle check, where it came back that stuff like the brake fluid, air filter change amongst other things were needed doing, i was under the impression that these would be included in the service which they supposedly aren't, which makes me ask the question why was i charged close to £300 for a service when i could of gone elsewhere and had everything included. I was supposed to receive a call back from them regarding the service and didn't hear back. So again today i have had to chase them up as i remembered they still hadn't sent me over the invoice. Overall i am really disappointed with the customer service, it was always on me to contact them to know what was going on, had i not of contacted them i doubt they would of ever sent over the invoice and vehicle check, nor would i of known when the car was ready to collect. I am also not happy with the work work carried out on my car, being charged close to £300 for a service and not including stuff like a brake fluid change, where i could of gone elsewhere an had all that included and at a cheaper price. I am even debating whether they even had the time to carry out an actual service and so haven't even actually done one and instead just done a 5/10 minute job at the end.
Will likely not return after this experience, and it's not the first time i have been left unimpressed with the whole overall experience here.

Alexandra Hocking went above and beyond throughout the whole process, ensuring we were comfortable at all times
We thought we had a car in mind, but turns out that one wasn?t suitable, but within 10 minutes Alex had found us an alternative that suited our needs more than the one we originally wanted. She really took the time to get to know us as people which was lovely!
The handover was especially good as although I am not the driver, she made sure when she was showing Jo the controls that I could see how it worked too.
She explained what was happening so we were never felt forgotten or unsure, even making sure we were comfortable when we got upset about letting go of my dad?s car.
Absolutely thrilled with the service we received and the new car too.
We will definitely be returning when the next car is due
