So peaceful. Each year we visit the rooms look immaculately decorated a d are really clean. Generous sized rooms, comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast but the evening meals are absolutely delicious - much preferred to other highly rated local restaurants. Ian and Karen are knowledgeable about the area and are happy to make recommendations for other restaurants and places to visit.

Stayed in the four poster bed. For the extra money we paid, a complete waste of money. Looked cheap and nasty. The room itself was vast, but again filled with cheap looking furniture. The shower unit spilled more water on the floor! Had to use the bath towels to mop up. The taps wanted adjusting, very stiff and again outdated. Very disappointed, and very over priced.

We stayed in the beautiful Poppy room. All amenities and very clean. Loved the walk in shower. Nice seating area and huge tv when you just wanted to unwind after a days outing. Great little kitchen area with plates, cutlery and tea/coffee making facilities. Fresh milk was wonderful. Loved the patio area with seating and binoculars to watch the wildlife. The guinea fowl are so entertaining and you couldn?t help watching their antics. It was a delight to see them foraging in the fields and occasionally stopping to say hello by sitting on the fence. Breakfasts are delicious and so good. Fresh quality food prepared to your liking. Ate to much but that?s what holidays are all about. Owners and staff are caring, helpful and lovely. Made guests feel so welcome. You have got this so right Karen and Ian. We had a super stay and will enjoy return visits. Thank you so much Rita and Graham / Louth Lincs.

This was our second visit to Brickfields Farm and we were very eager to get there. We stayed both times in a twin room. The beds are so comfortable and the pillows just how we like them. Although a bit difficult to find once there it?s the most tranquil place we have stayed. The owners are so hospitable, nothing is too much trouble. The food is to die for, with produce sourced locally. We will return.

We have just spent two nights at Brickfields Farm, what a lovely B&B. Our room (Rose) was bright, clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, I would highly recommend the Full Yorkshire although there were plenty of other options. Highly recommended. ?

Really lovely stay, rooms are clean and spacious. Patio area outside was nice with all the sheep in the field and a friendly cat. Yea coffee etc stocked in room daily. Breakfast was great the scrambled eggs were perfection! We had an evening meal on first night, it was exceptional.

I was warmly welcomed by Ian, shown to my room (The Stable) on the ground floor, a huge room with an enormous comfortable bed and a large shower room with walk-in shower. Breakfast was served in the large conservatory restaurant which overlooks the outside seating area, bbq and pizzeria. There was ample choice of breakfast, cereals, summer fruits, juices and tea/coffee and which were all served by a very efficient and friendly young lady. The location is idyllic, out in the country but not far from the small town of Kirkbymoorside. I enjoyed three nights in this wonderful accommodation; I would readily recommend Brickfields Farm to anyone wanting to visit this part of the North Yorkshire Moors which is very convenient to the Railway of the same name.

Very large, comfortable rooms with a sofa, and a huge walk-in shower room. The afternoon sun streams in through the patio doors, which open onto an small outdoor area overlooking paddocks, and there?s complementary binoculars for birdwatching. Fabulous cooked breakfast with tasty local produce. We really enjoyed our stay, but found the mattress disappointingly uncomfortable.

Had a wonderful couple of nights here last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The setting is idyllic, surrounded by fields and so so peaceful. It?s well positioned close to Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley, Pickering etc. We stayed in a room in the farmhouse which was beautifully dressed and exceptionally clean. There was a small fridge with a supply of water and milk together with kettle and hot beverage selection. We had our breakfasts in the on site restaurant (Feather & Beak) and it was of a high standard with a good selection. We ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening and was very happy with the menu. Again the food was of a good standard and cooked perfectly. Sunday lunch was excellent accompanied with a great selection of vegetables. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. We will be back.

A really enjoyable three night break at Brickfields farm, staying in the Buttercup room. Very roomy and comfortable accommodation with lovely views across farmland. Entertained by the sheep and Guinea fowl in the fields. Made very welcome by everyone. Enjoyed one of the best meals ever in their restaurant. Highly recommended

A friend and I had an overnight stay here, when we were en route to Northumberland, and I loved the place so much that I came back with another friend for a longer stay. On this occasion, we stayed in the ?Buttercup? room, which had been made up as a twin, and it was just perfect. The rooms at Brickfields are generously proportioned, with plenty of space to move around without bumping into each other, and the attention to detail is amazing. Not only is Brickfields a gorgeous place in itself but the location is idyllic. Most of the rooms have a lovely patio area with table and chairs, which overlook the fields where there?s an abundance of wildlife including rabbits and guinea fowl, and it?s the perfect place to unwind. Binoculars in the room are a thoughtful touch too. There is plenty of parking, very close to the rooms which are all on ground level, making this an ideal place for anybody who is disabled or has mobility problems, although bear in mind that the driveway is gravelled. There?s plenty to see with North York Moors National Park right on the doorstep and some lovely market towns within easy reach. Breakfast was excellent, although we were disappointed that there was no yoghurt (we brought our own on the second and third mornings!). We had dinner in Brickfields restaurant, The Feather and Beak, twice and the food was faultless. However, I would say that booking is advisable, as the restaurant is becoming very popular with locals (it was actually full on the two nights that we ate there). The hosts, Karen and Ian, are lovely people and so welcoming, as are their staff. This really is a fabulous B & B, in the most delightful spot, and I can?t recommend it highly enough.
