This is far the best Costa Coffee shop of them all. I come here almost every weekend,- The atmosphere is lovely, warm and inviting the staff are friendly and efficient they are very attentive it is very clean too - A big shout out to Alex and Nicole they really make you feel welcome and it is a lovely vibe where you can just sit and enjoy a nice drink and a bite to eat, you are not rushed at all and nothing is too much trouble, they will assist you in any way. These two need a promotion though dont let them leave, they always know what my order is and make it perfect everytime, everyone is made to feel welcome

Alexander served us this morning - such a nice chap! And he and the young lady with him were very pleasant and accommodating, not only with our order but with the lady behind us. Very clean and just right for an early morning coffee and a pastry.

Almost always busy.
But the really best thing about this costa than any other in york is the manager he runs this place extremely well and the staff are very efficient and happy. The others in york are not great.
A place is only as good as the manager that runs it and the one in clifton moor has long queues and very young slow staff
This is not a criticism of the staff it about training and connecting with them to get the best from them because their confident and happy.

Quick stop off break for lunch! Plenty of seats inside and outside. The hazelnut latte was nice and hot! The staff were efficient in clearing the tables.

Bacon in the sandwiches is processed cardboard. Absolutely no nutritional value whatsoever.

Best cafe around. Staff and management are very welcoming. Very clean. Great selection of drinks and food. Always a smile to greet you.

Consistently good both drinks and hot food. Staff were great. Prices are still expensive but locations are convenient.

Nice little spot to come and get a Costa. Always quiet and always plenty of space. The staff are friendly and the coffee/food are decent. Definitely would recommend this over the location just over the road at Monks Cross!
