We always go to the Vinehouse kn Hemsley. We have a loyalty card, but to our surprise yesterday, we found that the policy has changed. So, instead of a stamp for each drink, it is now one stamp per purchase. So we had 3 coffees but only got 1 stamp. When did the policy change then? The food was fantastic ?

Friendly staff and very welcoming! Ordered a latte to start with, then scones afterwards. There?s plenty of seats inside the glasshouse and lots of sheltered outdoor seats too. It?s dog friendly with treats available! The fruit scone was fresh and delicious!!

Beautiful and quiet place to have a coffee; dog-friendly.

We asked for some cut up cucumber on the side of our plate, for our 7 month old to enjoy ( we would have paid of course) ? the chef refused!
What sort of chef can?t cope with providing some extra cucumber on the side of my salad! Ridiculous
Also to add, the beeping gadget/buzzer that every customer has is highly irritating, when trying to relax

Food is as usual, indeed it is fresh but not very testy, atmosphere is also good. Price wise it is little high but service is good.

It?s a very special place for a cup of coffee or afternoon tea. Sitting in the conservatory under the sun it?s very comfy and warm. Love it. If you only just order drinks, you have to wait to collect your drinks by the till. Or they will bring your order to your table if you order lunch meal, then you will get a wooden spoon with a number on it.

A great place to enjoy just a coffee and a cake or one of their great main dishes.

Great setting near the walled garden which wasn?t open when we visited but the cafe was lovely. Dog friendly and the staff were very helpful as we arrived close to them closing for the day but they did us lovely toasties and coffee to take out. Nice outdoor space for when the weather is better too. We will be back

Very nice venue. Good quality food and drink. Dog friendly. I hate waste so when I was left with 1/2 a pot of tea I asked for another cup for a friend... to be told it's one per person. Bit tight if you ask me.

A pretty, unusual, dog-friendly café. Recommended for good quality coffee with decaf options.
We returned a second time to treat our family to afternoon tea. There were three of us so we ordered one large pot of tea but when we asked for a third teacup we were told they wouldn't do it as they don't allow people to share pots of tea for two. Having paid over £30 for three scones and a pot of tea for two, and having recently come from another café where they brought over an extra cup and saucer without us even asking, there was a noticeable difference in the afternoon tea service compared to some other local places.
On the plus side, the homemade scones were delicious and the pot of English Breakfast tea was so big we had more than two cups worth left over when we'd had our fill!

Well organised by friendly staff. Great food and a fantastic service. Dog friendly when attended by well-behaved owners.
Kid-friendliness: Brilliant staff that are well organised. Polite and not frightened to point customers in the right direction for the customers' benefit.

I've read some of the past negative reviews and all I can say is that this place is quite extraordinary - in particular because it's a cafe attached to gardens and not a high street venue. The food is staggeringly good - extremely high quality ingredients made with real care and attention to detail but without being fussy or complicated.
As a long standing chef I appreciated everything that was on my plate (and my husbands too....) Thank you very much.

Ultimately you go to lunch to eat food and my food wasn't nice enough to finish (sorry Greenpeace).
However, the waiting staff were great, I liked the concept of eating in a greenhouse. I also had a nice tea .
