Sat outside, very pleasant.
We had iced coffee they tasted terrible, not like freshly brewed ground coffee and too little ice.
I mentioned it to the waiter when asked if everything was ok, didn't seem to care but hope they take it on board and improve them.
We have been before and everything was perfect.

Really lovely cafe situated in the heart of Helmsley. We sat outside for lunch surrounded by historic buildings and with view of the ancient castle. We were welcomed with friendly service and promptly served the most delicious, fresh and home cooked food.
Too stuffed for pudding but the cakes looked excellent. Will return!

Astonishingly good restaurant-quality food in this tiny little café. We sat outside with enormous gourmet burgers and a totally delicious pork belly ciabatta with the best crackling I?ve ever eaten. Brilliant value for money.

The food is gorgeous. The coffee is amazing. The service is brilliant. I love the restaurant/cafe. I also love their restaurant in York. It?s a little bit pricey but I guess it?s everywhere now after Covid.

We had just walked around the castle and were ready for lunch. Manions was the perfect fit. A very welcoming spot with exceptional service and food. We had a delicious spiced Indian lentil soup that was out of this world. When you are in Helmsley, pop in here!

Love everything here. Stopped for coffee and it's served with one of the home made biscuits, wonderful taste crispy, flavours of nuts, peel, fennel very memorable.
