The sharing seafood platter was amazing. So much salmon, tuna in mayonnaise, anchovies and hummus with plenty of bread and pittas to dip. We had the gluten free one and it was brilliant. Definitely recommend. Staff were helpful and friendly and very obliging to our request for gluten free.

Very rude and unfriendly owner, rest of the staff are great , having looked at the rest of the reviews on here I have noticed that they were all lovely comments until 2024 , don?t know if it changed hands at that point or if the owner has some personal problems but either way he needs to sort himself out or sell up and on

Gosh where do i start.... we have been to the farmyard bike rally at Helmsley and wanted a nice breakfast. Looks a nice place but the staff are useless got all our order wrong. I am allergic to salmon and mine came with salmon so sent it back she then gave it me back but had just took the salmon off. So sent it back again it came back with scrambled eggs which wernt cooked half raw and sausages were pink inside. I littrelly left all my breakfast and ended up at the co-op with a banana and a pastry. The guy who was cooking was very abrupt. Totally get it was busy but its no way to be so disappointed. Do not visit!!!!

The service here is shocking my partner, and 1 popped in for a quick bite to eat with our young child, and the service was appalling,rude, and abrupt not only did the food look like something you would serve your dog but the utensils provided to eat it were dirty I highly recommend that you don't visit this establishment.

Stopped for a cappuccino which was deliciously creamy. The cafe has tables inside both outside, with large covers providing cover from rain ??or sunshine ?.
Cafe is in a lovely peaceful setting, surrounded by an eclectic mix of local, indenpent shops.
Store is in a wi-fi blackspot for my network, however cafe has excellent wi-fi.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Will definitly be visiting again!

Rude owner. no customer service skills. we were told abruptly no tables and we couldn't sit there with the dogs even though it said dog friendly inside. made to feel very unwelcome and a nuisance. will not be returning.

Found this cafe by chance on our first visit to Helmsley. Excellent all day breakfast and delicious scrambled egg and salmon. Portions generous and prices very good. Well worth a visit.
