An olde-worlde cafe restaurant (think a Littlewoods or BHS in store cafeteria). Most food is home made or deep fried. Service good. Reasonable price and open at times when nothing else in the town is serving decent food.

What a lovely breakfast. We went 3 times 2 for breakfasts & once just for coffee. We were going to go for one of their roast dinners but leaving a day earlier than expected, disappointed us. The roast dinners are served ever day as part of an extensive menu. If we are in the area again, we will definitely visit again. Would recommend.

Brilliant cheese making demonstration for an excellent price. The guy really knew his stuff and was incredibly personable. What a find!

Came upon this almost by accident, what a lovely surprise. Food is freshly cooked and plentiful, small portions are available if a full portion is too much (and it probably will be) as the standard portion is quite large. Good selection on the menu. Large choice of desserts if you can find space for it as they are equally generous on size. Staff are friendly and well presented , clean and polite. Definitely worth popping in. Less than £20 each for a main, dessert and alcoholic drink.

A very warm and friendly welcome from the staff. Service was very good. A fantastic menu with options for half portions a good idea so you can manage the excellent desert menu.
All hand made and delicious with very reasonable prices.
Highly recommended you call in hardest part is picking just one meal from the menu and you won't leave disappointed.
Excellent all round.
