At the bottom of hawes main st facing the church only had 2 pints of camden hells at £14 no one in at 2pm but got packed at night we wasnt eating so didnt bother

Honestly, perhaps some of the best food I've had. Up there with some of the very top restaurants I've been to. The food feels genuinely home cooked, and is well prepared and presented. The venue is nice enough, and the staff on our first visit were excellent, although perhaps closer to average on our second visit.

Fantastic early lunch after a walk to Aysgarth Falls.
Service was fast, efficient and friendly and the food was amazing!
Dog friendly too!
Pop in, you won't be disappointed.

We had the misfortune of sitting next to the gentleman who has left below whilst trying to enjoy our Sunday dinner yesterday. The food was outstanding, the pub has been done up beautifully and we have enjoyed many a meal here on our frequent visits to Hawes.
Why businesses are having to put up with customers leaving reviews like this gentleman I do not know. I felt obliged to leave a review as this couple spent the entire meal trying to negotiate a discount. Why go somewhere for a meal if the place isn?t to your liking just to leave a bad review? I am sure there are plenty of ?Chicken establishments? they could have visited as an alternative, where you don?t need to use a knife & fork (as the gentleman was clearly struggling with using such implements).
A lovely meal in beautiful surroundings yet again, only spoiled by one obnoxious couple. The staff did a great job of dealing with them, but they really shouldn?t have to. Thank you once again

I like a country pub style.this has a poor city feel to it.sack the interior designer it used to be.a lot better before.foods ok but not brilliant sad really.

What a fantastic place!
Myself, my mum and my partner were strolling through Hawes when we saw the White Hart Inn, we asked a very lovely lady what time they started serving dinner from, she said 5pm. We hadn't booked as it was an impromptu dinner and the lovely Sarah went above and beyond to fit us in. She gave us some excellent recommendations of the pie for our meal choices and it was one of the best pies I've had in my life!
Thank you to everyone there for creating a welcoming, friendly environment with great food, drinks and good human beings!

Lovely brunch before a big hike up Wild Boar Fell. Sausage pattie, egg and bacon roll was delicious. The pints too were cracking.

Great looking pub inside, unfortunately only able to drink as fully booked, good selection of ales and lagers, but at £7.40 for a pint of Blue Moon I'd say not the on the cheap side.
Staff serving were pleasant and quick.

We had Sunday roasts (one chicken, two lamb) and the mushroom bourguignon pie. Everything was exceptional!!
Of particular note were the caramelised pickled silverskin onions in the pie, and the towering Yorkshire puddings that came with the roasts. The lamb was melt-in-the-mouth tender, accompanied by a delicious, tangy, homemade mint sauce.
Also: dog friendly!!

Lovely pub. Friendly staff and meals were excellent. The chicken pie is delicious , only a small amount of pastry to lightly cover and chocked full of chicken. Drinks are also very good. The best pub in Hawes.
