The staff in the Harrogate Store are amazing. Interested, helpful and informative. Nothing is ever too much trouble; they offer great recommendations, interesting stories about authors and a genuine love of books. Wonderful team. Highly recommend.

Waterstones Harrogate was a great Book shop - we've been using it for many years. Unfortunately a recent ordering mistake on their part was turned into a nightmare by staff who were arrogant, condescending, obstructive, accusational, blamed the customer & seemed to have no understanding of their system! Others tell us this is a common occurrence - must be a management/'leadership' issue. Wish Waterstones could confirm how they will properly resolved their problems & appalling service so we may visit them again.

Bookshops always have the nicest cafés, and this one is no exception, featuring nice coffee, comfy seating and a view from a 1st floor window if you're lucky.

What a lovely cafe with bookshop attached. The first floor cafe serves superb drinks and my preferred of late is perfect. The selection of cakes and pastries if super nice too. Best of all it is dog friendly with a lift to take you there.
