A very popular spot on a sunny day, this cafe is on the banks of the river in Knaresborough at the Lido. There is seating outside with fab views of the river by or you can sit inside. Captive audience for those on the nearby campsite. Simple food but no cakes!

We were recommended The Watermill Cafe by the owner of the campsite we are staying on. So glad we took his advice to walk by the river from the town, stop for tea and cake and walk back. We were served by a lovely, friendly young man and have to say the cake was delicious! The perfect setting to enjoy a brew.
