Stayed in small double room. Room 502. For the price i don't think it can be beaten. Only fault i could find was shower water pressure. Check in was quick, the room was beautiful and well executed.

Great location but our room didn?t have a bathtub, when we asked to move rooms the gentleman on reception suggested we call ahead next time and request a bathtub, really?. I?ll ask for a carpet as well shall I!Our shower had absolutely zero water pressure, it dribbled out making it impossible to wash our hair or enjoy a shower at all! (Room 412) Then when my wife asked for a complement breakfast at checkout as an apology they sold us service had finished at 10:30, she asked at 10:32! All they kept saying was you have to take your complaints up with the 3rd party booking company, they just didn?t want to know.The 3rd party booking service contacted the hotel to discuss a refund and they refused to offer a refund of any description.Absolutely disgraceful customer service!!

Lovely reception.Clean,warm and a real hotel where you are looked after. I loved the original period building very tastefully upgraded with everything you need.Nearby activities: Close to harrogate centreNoteworthy details: Parking is limited outside check in early and leave the car alone until you leave or space may be filled.

Spent 3 nights here for my partners birthday. Room was fine for our needs we were at the rear of the hotel lots of early morning noise refuse collection deliveries etc. Hotel dated in some areas. Breakfast good plenty of selection although hot food not so hot. On arrival receptionist gave no information whatsoever just gave us our key card I had to ask about Breakfast times.My biggest gripe was the £15 per night parking charge which is absolutely extortionate I was aware of this when I booked and chose to pay it but on this issue alone I would not stay here again.

Had a nice stay. The team are great-especially the blonde lady at breakfast what a star she is!!! Delightful. Lovely bar and restaurant and great location. Price was very reasonable and breakfast was good. Will stay again.Rooms: Big rooms and generous in room amenities (coffee, tea biscuits and bathroom items). Slightly dated

Had a lovely 1 night break at the Yorkshire Hotel, our room was very spacious modern and clean also the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was very good with lots of choice and fresh food. The location of the hotel is brilliant with just a short walk to restaurants and bars, also it has its own great bar and restaurant, would definitely stay again.

The hotel facade is striking, full of character, but the room is very basic. The layout is unusual and lacks details. The downstairs bar is okay, but the overall facilities don't live up to my expectations. I don't think I would stay here again.Rooms: The bed is right next to the wall, which is very uncomfortable to use. The shower is very week.

Just stayed at the yorkshire recently and would recommend this hotel highly-however our room overlooked what can only be described as an industrial site and why do you have to pay £45 for the privilege of parking there when you've already paid for staying there and good luck finding a space if you venture
