“Whilst this Tesco doesn't have the widest range of things available, they often come in handy and are much more reliable than the nearby co-ops. Very friendly staff as well”

“Friendly staff, no queues and well stocked for everyday items. Has meal deal offers for lunches including take away coffee and I like using my Co-op member offers here. Easy parking outside and has an Amazon locker located in the car park”

“Conveniently located in the centre of Harrogate, with ample parking and easy access. Not the best feng shui for a Waitrose because it was built on the site of an old Safeway. Considering the quality of other shops in town, this Waitrose is adequate but not superior.”

“Move over Eiffel Tower — Sainsbury’s is where the real magic happens. From the exotic land of Frozen Peas to the breathtaking Valley of Biscuits, every aisle is a new discovery. Staff didn’t offer guided tours, but they did point me toward the reduced section — a true hidden gem. Five stars, would explore again.”

“One fateful lunchtime, I pondered to myself: Oh I am so hungry where shall I go for lunch?? Oh God!! The Co-operative!! Which is only a mere 0.7 miles from my school! This divine little establishment is not only roller-skate friendly, but also hosts a fine range of Cadbury chocolate bars. As chocolate is one of the many loves of my life, you can picture the splendorous look on my face when I discover the 2 for a pound deal!!! Ohh me oh my!!!!!!!! I almost soiled myself!! I will forever be grateful to this store for allowing me to feast on the highest quality scran.”

“All Aldis are splendid; for choice, special offers and efficient customer service. I’m reviewing Ourense store in Galicia, but my local store in Yorkshire is equally excellent !”

“Good little local shop. Packs a good selection in for the square footage. My only complaint is that they have very little to offer vegetarians in terms of ready meals etc.”

“Fantastic shop. Stopped in for a bacon sandwich and a coffee when on a walk and owner couldn’t have been more friendly. Lovely seating area at the back. Bakery excellent and they do all sorts of different food on different nights. Well-used and a great example of what a modern village shop can offer.”

“Decent little Co-op.Has everything you would expect a small shop to have. Staff are friendly and say hello and has 2 self serve tills.Only downside is that the isles are quite thin but otherwise not complaints.”

“This is a great store. It's well organised, convenient and has a really good selection. It saves a lot of time. The staff are all polite and helpful. Margaret is especially kind and my daughter really likes her.”

“Conveniently situated next to Pannal railway station. Fairly standard medium sized convenience store/mini market. Popped in on the off chance there'd be a coffee machine as we had a half hour wait for our train and there was a Costa Coffee machine along with a good selection of Danish Pastries. Served immediately by a cheerful chap. ”

“Today at roughly 17:00 me and my partner were shopping here. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the persons name but I was told he was a temporary cleaner. This gentleman took the time out of his day to go the extra mile. He saw that we were struggling to decide on something so he asked if he could help and made an excellent suggestion. He was kind, friendly, approachable and well presented. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is I asked 3 separate staff for his name and none of them knew or found out for me. I thought it a shame they didn’t know his name but he definitely deserves credit. Thank you sir for a brilliant experience.”

“mixed opinions. staff are great and clean store. but fruit and flowers are often not in great condition and variety of products isn’t great. but to say it’s 30 seconds round the corner can’t complain too much!”

“Convenient location just off main road into Harrogate from Ripon/Ripley/Skipton, inside petrol station. Has similar range to a local Co-op, plus petrol station items. Handy for picking up items on Sunday/Bank Holidays when 'normal' shops are shut.”

“I visited M&S Harrogate today 27/8/2025 at about 5.20. Looking for a particular pair of trousers. I spoke to the delightful Esther and she was so helpful (and she smelt delicious) - can I say that? Nothing too much trouble and even got the staff on the tills involved. I love shopping in Harrogate. Thank you Esther.”

“Always the best to pop in to do some shopping, making sure I've got a storecard as the discounts I regard are a great way of saving. For many that should be a craving before we continue to be waving good bye to the guy that did try. I was a bard but life became too hard. See a shard of truth then you will find as much proof as you need if you follow to see MGBM Artworks took the lead.”

“It's much improved. A few years ago this was a dire shopping experience but they've recently done it out with a total refit inside. It's now modern and the produce is good, esp fresh produce.I'd say forget old memories and try it out.”

“Went for breakfast in the cafe at the harrogate Morrisons. Staff all friendly, however John who was serving the food stood out. Really friendly fella and just seemed to go that extra mile to make sure everything was ok for me and my girls.”

“We visit the store regularly and have always liked the look of the in store cafe. As such we decided to pop in for lunch last week and were not disappointed. Not only was the food enjoyable but the staff were very polite and attentive.”

“It's asda, not much to say, manager has decided to make it worse to navigate in order to make you walk around more aisles which is very annoying, especially when I know what I am going in to get.”
