Contacted Smiths regarding an extra height riser ring for a Himolla Mosel chair.Mr Hugill could not have been more helpful. He established the correct colour of wood (the Mosel can be manufactured in a variety of shades of wood) and size for my particular chair. He explained the timeline and costs involved in shipping the ring to Scotland once Smiths had received it. He made the ordering experience very simple and easy to understand.All in all, excellent customer service. Even although I live in Scotland, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Mr Hugill and Smiths again if I needed further help with my Himolla chair!

Great - the shop staff don't try any high pressure sales talk, but are just helpful and informed. We found a 'clearance' item that was perfect, I guess that might not always happen but worth visiting the shop to see. Delivery of the bed was excellent - our house is difficult to get to, and the deliverers were cheerful and polite and careful (in the rain!), assembled the bed quickly, took all the packaging away, and also took away the old mattress for disposal (reasonable fee paid at shop). Couldn't be better.

Mr Walmsley took care of me very well by showing me all sorts of your fantastic stock of armchairs. He certainly knows his job and showed me the chairs I had to buy out of all the huge range Smiths have.

Lovely furniture store with contemporary and traditional furniture. Huge choice. Staff are very helpful and polite. Made two visits before we made our purchase. Interest free credit is available too. A very pleasant experience!

Excellent family owned company. We brought a set of dining chairs and have had them for about a week and we are exceptionally happy. The delivery guys were brilliant and friendly and all chairs were built on site and packaging removed. From order to delivery, this company have been outstanding and we highly recommend this company and have done to family and friends already. Many thanks, we will definately be back.
