Absolutely awful branch with very unhelpful staff and bank manager. Santander sent my standing order out twice leaving me £840 out of pocket instead of £420. One of the payments was in a pending state for 48 hours. They took no responsibility for it and thought it was acceptable to just say I need to wait till it leaves the account and recall it from the company. They offered no solution or help whatsoever, worst banking experience I have ever had and will never bank with this appalling bank again.

Great staff of really helpful easy access plus one cash machine outside and three inside wheelchair access is very easy parking can be an issue but disabled parking is directly outside

The outside ATM is nearly always out of order and refusing cash deposits. Has been for years and they don't fix it.

Blocked online banking due to "irregular activity" which is understandable, but don't answer their phones when they instruct you to call. This has rendered the account and the funds in it unusable. If this continues it results in an inability to pay for child care, bills etc. Santander are putting their profits ahead of the wellbeing of their customers. Disgraceful.

Horrdenous, do NOT apply for a credit card with this antiquated bank you won't know what the credit limit will be until the card arrived so if your doing a balance transfer there's a good chance they won't have given you enough credit to cover it so the whole application is a massive waste of time, with a search on your credit file.

Terrible service, professionally obnoxious staff, pointless complaints procedure, I would not have been surprised to find out I had been pranked but no such luck. I was trying to open an account I had £55,000 to invest, I got ignorance with a cherry on it. Don,t bother with their 1.5% account its not worth the offence.
